What's up with these erroneous rumors about Z-Ro doing a four-year stint in jail? if there was any truth to this, how come it's not on the news? Other than Trae's interview with a well-known southern rap website, nothing else corroborates these claims. In fact, based on some solid evidence that recently landed on my desk, I now have reason to believe that Mr. Joseph McVey is probably chillin' at the crib as opposed to being locked up.
Just like most of y'all, I assumed 'Ro was locked up after seeing this:
WordofSouth.com: After the album, will we see a new ABN album?Trae: Right now, I don't really know because you know Z-Ro's doing four years, so that'd be kind of hard.
But, according to this arrest record (via a good friend of mine), the last time Z-Ro saw the confines of jail was in 2003. Was Trae misquoted in that interview or what? Is this some sort of marketing gimmick? If anyone knows what's going on, please hit us up.
Chamillionaire's "Grown and Sexy" Video
Definitely not the best song on Sound of Revenge, but you know, record companies are shady like that. I can't be mad at Chamillionaire for trying to reel in more soundscan numbers by dropping a "ladies' joint" in the middle of summer. For everyone else, there's always "Laffy Taffy."
