Ok, I'll admit it. I only watched this wack-ass "Chunk up the Deuce" video because of Hoopz. Seriously folks, how many more of these painfully underwhelming songs do we have to encounter before the entire Houston hip-hop becomes a cliché.
Lil' Keke has his moments every now and then, and though Paul Wall is the most redundant person to ever breathe on a mic, he's had a few good songs as well. But, this here is the true definition of creativity stump.
I might be wrong, but, if the likes of OutKast and the Geto Boys had attempted to popularize southern rap by constantly rhyming about candypaint, Slabs, and grills, and shouting out phone numbers when they launched their careers, the industry would have brushed off the dirty south as a big joke. And, we would all be confined to the sensationalisms of east coast hip-hop enthusiasts and west coast purists.
Whether you want to believe it or not, the tables are beginning to turn, and southern rap as a whole is losing its identity because we're promoting wack music. Mull over that next time you're buying a Mike Jones record or a D4L album.

So, I was busy playing Pimp Slap last night when a friend alerted me about Beyonce's soon-to-be-historic wardrobe malfunction.
Poor thing. Funny enough, some pervs out there who have had this sort of thing near the top of their wishlist (next to that Vida Guerra sex tape we've been hearing about for months), will be disappointed to find out that it's only a nip slip.
Other than that, the Radio City event was a great concert -- of "I Declare War" proportions. Or so I heard. One of the many highlights being that Beyonce replaced Mary J. Blige on "Can't Knock the Hustle"... and murdered it. Now, we just have to wait for the DVD and hope that Ms. Knowles and her hangers feature prominently. Just kidding...
