The G-Unity Foundation...bwahahaha!
Today 50 Cent and The Game are having a press conference to announce their commitment to keeping the peace with each other and in the community. 50 says:
"I'm launching a new foundation, the G-Unity Foundation, Inc., to help people overcome obstacles and make a change for the better in their lives...to help them overcome their situations. I realized that if I'm going to be effective at that, I have to overcome some of my own. Game and I need to set an example in the community."
I'm a positive Black man and all, but a G-Unity Foundation? Cmon, dog that's hilarious. It reminds me of that silly Pimp Juice scholarship Nelly has.

God Bless 50 Cent for being humble enough to back down from this stupidity, even though some people will always look at this as him being soft.
You think B.I.G & Pac would'nt rather be alive than dead.
Big-Up 50 & Game. I have both your albums. Hotttt.
Rip B.I.G.

I'm a huge G-Unit fan I respect 50 and Game a whole lot more now. Not many rappers would try to right they're wrongs. Hopefully they will try to get along and keep making hot music. Leave the street in the street.

Look, I'm not knocking anyone for being positive but I really don't think 50 actually went back and thought to himself one morning that he needs to squash the thing with Game. I really beleive that Interscope stepped in on this one and intervened. Then again, maybe it was a hoax, who knows. I just hope the "truce" between them isn't short lived. We will know it was real if someone gets seriously hurt or killed behind it. YES I REALIZE HOW IGNORANT & DUMB THAT SOUNDS SO BACK DOWN. It's unfortunate that that is what people look for from our culture. The fact that people actually believe people like 50 Cent are "real" is funny.

50 cent is what I call "The Man's Rapper". He embodies everything negative about hip hop, and reinforces the stereotypes surrounding every black, or for that matter, even latino, asian, or white, person in America who wears baggy clothes and listens to hip hop. He is exactly what "white america" wants him to be.
I'm not "hatin" and I'm most certainly not jealous, I dont know about you but it's relatively obvious to me that this "G-unity Foundation" was not created with the intention he acts like it was, its a fake, something he thought up just to gain the appearance of giving a damn about the youths.
What happend to the good old days of hip hop, before fake-ass "gangsta" rappers like 50, Ja, and some rapping dalmatians fucked everything up? Think back to a time when I Ain't No Joke could be considered a diss track, when a west coast mc came thru and crushed NY's buildings, and when knowledge ruled supreme over nearly everyone.
Now theres just a handful a real mc's left. Nas, Jadakiss, Eminem, Talib, Common Sense, Kanye, Mos Def, Ludacris, Black Thought, dead prez, and Cassidy seem to be some of the select few still with a career who haven't completely sacrificed punchlines and addressing the issues, and succumb to this obsession with having a gangsta persona and "street cred". This is an epidemic, yall, and when people begin to believe that guns, and bitches, or some crunk bullshit is what hip hop is about, its gone too far.

My opinion on this is no matter what any of us may feel about 50's character or music, what he is doing is something positive! Giving back to the community
is the ultimate action anyone who makes it out of our misery sticken ghettos can do. So like the man or not we should support what is trying to be accomplished..........(but thats just my opinion!)

At the hot 97 summer jam fiddy had to stay home.If he came he would've bust a cap in fat joe, jada,& everyone else he got beef with but let's go to game.At the summer jam game threw off his chain into the crowd & got fresh.after he threw off his chain he said "g-g-g-g-g-unot!!!!"Now game how in the hell u gonna say that to 50 & he is one of the people who produced your album.Answer that u freakin coward & u couldn't even say it to his face. u had to say it at the summer jam while 50 wasn't there

Akil: The same kind of question can be asked of 50.
Why did 50 get on the radio the first time, instead of confronting Game?
This time, why did 50 have to go through FHM to talk shit about him?
Answer these, and you'll be that much closer to your answer.
...BTW. 50 instigated this entire thing, Game didn't start saying shit about 50 until 50 dissed him, both times.
50 ain't no ganster, he would not have "busted a cap" at anybody, if you believe he would've, then you are without a doubt, the most gullible person I've ever seen. 50 stopped being a gangsta the second that first bullet went into him.
If he's so hard, then how come he ran out the back door of Hot 97 when Game's crew rolled up and started shooting? He was just up in there talking about how, if they want to take it to the streets, he'll be right there on the front line, and then when shots rang out, he ran like a little bitch. And why was his "record-release party" at his house, with nobody but his closest homies?
Yeah, he's a gangsta, all right, very hardcore.

50cent dedicated his life to getting rich or to die trying (his new movie) and I respect him greatly for that because not everyone would be able to go through all that he has been through. He literally came from the bottom of the streets to the top. So yeah, he is a real gangsta. Now that he's at the top though, he's starting to get a little big-headed. I mean, he started beef with all these other rappers, and never quite finished it, and the only strong defense he had was that he sold more albums. So...what. Eventually someone is going to come around and sell more albums than him too. I mean, he set out to ruin their careers..why. They went through as much as 50cent did, and it wasn't just so someone can shatter everything they worked so hard for.

50's Foundation is nothing more than a publicity stunt and besides.,he writes off the donations so he won't have to pay those high taxes.
