jeezy new album is wack and i liked and bought the first one. "streets on lock" is the best song on da album then "jeezy" and "i got money." he ain't lyrical to keep rappin bout the same shit like jay z did through his whole career. r. kelly da best thang on go getta and he don't even rap, it just sounds like a weak attempt to re-create soul survivor. he had a timbo beat and da song ain't bout shit. jeezy through after this one and he damn sho ain't goin platinum with this album. the album is weak overall so save ya money.

I just finished listening to the Jeezy album and think its very well done. I've only listened 1 time but even that 1 time got a thumbs up from me. I'll be in stores next week.

I haven't heard the leak and don't plan to, I don't wanna hear the damn album until it DROPS and I cop it. The song "Good Luck Charm" got a lot of airplay up here (NY) from Jagged Edge. I mean, who's really had a "hit" anyway? What do u consider a "hit?" music that gets 1000 spins a day? A hit is a song that can be played 5 yrs from now. All of that ATL/HOU music won't be. Count on it. "Ballin"... WON'T BE. Those are songs for the moment.

1) Don't love 50 Cent, but 21 Questions/Wanksta were hits. It was a different sound, created a different buzz.

2) Eminem's "My Name is"... as much as I hated that song after a while... it was a hit. It was NEW. It was different.

3) Jagged Edge 'Let's Get Married' HIT. It was a Wedding Anthem for urban listeners.

Yeah, it was 6 yrs ago, but who creates "Hits" on the reg? No artist does, b/c the industry wants to change every 6 mos/year.

It's very simple as to why this album is a dissapointment. SHAWTY REDD!!! Jeezy and Shawty Redd were like Tim and Missy. The chemistry is what brought Jeezy to the top. Now he's tryna branch out and holla at otha producers and that's not wassup. Just take a look at all of his material. It started going down hill when he lightened up on the Shawty Redd tracks.

I'm only buying a few albums this year, that Petey Pablo-Same Eyez on Me and Ricky Ruckus-Hood Stripes(Gotta support my North Cak folks) Im getting Young Buck's-Buck the World, UGK's-Underground Kingz, and Chamillionaire's-Ultimate Victory. There is absloutley nuffin wrong wiv Jagged Edge and 112. Dey the best in RnB music. Dese guys are real talented n can actually sing. Dey not just tlkin fast, dey SING.
