"THATS THE BAD PART ABOUT BEING IN THE MEDIA, YOU HAVE TO REPORT THE GOOD, THE BAD, AND THE UGLY", WHEN DO YOU REPORT THE GOOD ANYBODY DOES? EVERYTIME I COME ON HERE I HAVE TO READ THE WORST ABOUT THIS PERSON OR THAT PERSON, AND IT MOSTLY BE YOUR STAFFS OPINION. VERY NEGATIVE ALL DAY. WELL I GUESS ITS IS TO GET PEOPLE RILLED UP SO THAT YOU SITE CAN GET HITS. I WAS GONNA ASK WHY DO THE SAME THING THAT WHITE FOLKS DO TO US BUT THEN AGAIN MANAGEMENT IS PROBABLY WHITE TOO! SO IT FIGURES....I DONT FEEL ANY TYPE OF WAY OVER THIS ARTICLE...C-BONE-VS-KILLER MIKE.....NOT A HUGH BATTLE THAT WILL RESHAPE HIPHOP OR RAP...BIG UP TO BOTH OF THEM FOR BEING BLACK MEN DOING SOMETHING WITH THEIR LIVES.
Posted by: E at July 6, 2006 10:24 AM
I always looked at Killer Mike as one of the most underrated and talented lyricists in the game. It's strange to me then that he picked a diss song to come with arguably the most sub-par performance I've ever heard from him. Haven't heard C-Bone yet. It's cool. Some things just had to be addressed. With them, it's not going to spill out into the streets. They're still really too close to each other's situations
Posted by: Enlightened at July 6, 2006 10:45 AM
I like Killer Mike, he's very underrated. I haven't heard anything tight from C-Bone, so hopefully you can have the song up in the next couple of days.
But I have a serious question for you...How can you say that you will not feed into the "beef" machine, but even write about the whole matter in the first place?
Seems to me like you're feeding into the "beef" machine.
This is Georgia talking!
Posted by: Chevy G. Hustle at July 6, 2006 10:51 AM
theyll squash it and if they dont i really know shit gon get worse. I dont want the A to turn into beef city number 3
Posted by: d boy at July 6, 2006 10:52 AM
I agree to a point that you have to report all sides, but it seems to me in the "media" they meaning you too, seem to focus on the bad and ugly, side lets be honest 50cent proved that is what sells, records, or papers so I am not made at you for doing it, just don't go on here saying feel bad for me b/c I hate feeding the beef m/c, but by the way this person is beefing with this person.
Its unrealistic to think that beef will go away, but if we as a community (everywhere) come together and decide whats best for us, then those that enjoy drama and beef will have it, and will end up destroying themselves and those that don't will prospore and flurish, its call eveloution.
Posted by: ethan at July 6, 2006 11:25 AM
They should have worked that shit out w/o the media...the bottom line is that there's money for ALL black artists b/c black music will ALWAYS make money and the industry wants to pit us against each other PERIOD

What kills me is that the minute someone takes this seriously, beef that is, and gets hurt or worse killed everyone is like this has got to stop!
And what are you talking about this is hip hop, rapping about drugs, guns, whos the baddest! That is not Hip hop, at least not what I grew up on. What about positivty? what about talking about guns and drugs in communitys in a negitive light instead of glorrifying it? Groups like P.E, Paris, Ded Prez, The Zulu Nation, would be ashamed to have people say that what todays, pop stars, yes pop stars not rappers, do is real hip hop. Its a sade state of affairs when you and others use the word "nigger" as a term on enderment, I won't bore you with the history of the word but before black people will be deemed as acceptable by anybody, they need to be deemed acceptable bythemsleves and I am sorry to stay it but 99% of the people on this site are just repeating what they here some pop star say and that is unacceptable.

I m so sorry to offend you, I didn't and still don't know the difference between "nigger" and Nigga, WTF give me a brake, there is no difference but I guess that is like saying a women being called bitch is good, b/c it really means: Being in total control of herself.
I don't understand what your saying b/c your comming from a place where you judge pop stars and what you see on tv as reality, when you know for a fact that it is not even "your" reality. I don't mean to offend you, or put you down but give me a break, read a book, educate yourslef on your culture, learn the struggles and correct that the real struggles of the black man, and then talk about Nigga is a better word to use describing yourself....
here is a start for you to read from the mouth of Chuck D:
http://www.publicenemy.com/index.php?page=page3
again sorry if I offened you but remeber people get mad about what others say b/c there may be some truth in it.

That is just what i am talking about, now your talking like a pop star, and come on the best insult you have for me is to call me white? Like that is 1/2 no make that 1/8 of as offensive as calling oneself Nigga? I am not here to argue with you or get in an internet battle with you it is kind of a joke to me, I present a differnt side of the coin try to tell you that no this pop star thing is not the only way and you get mad and call me white?
Just out of curiosty between turf wars, selling coke, smaking your hoes and hanging with your NiggA's, what was the last book you read? Be yourself, don't try to be someone else, be you, nobody cares, this is the internet, everyone nows everyone is lieing!
I look forward to the verbal assualt that is sure to come in the fourm of your response.

lol @bxconnect getting completely embarassed by ethan...
The funny part is ethan actually makes damn good points. Damn bx, I thought you were one of the good ones...
Anyways, from what my people tell me, Killer Mike did his fair share of dirt as well - as if that actually matters anyways. I don't know if you've noticed but everybody that raps in atlanta is a "street nigga". It isn't that hard to buy a reputation down here.
T.I., Young Jeezy, Young Dro, Sean Paul from YBZ (really from Panola Road), Killer Mike, I-20... all of them are suppposedly from the hood and really put in work. Moral of the story: That don't mean shit. Just judge the person by their music, not their made up street fame.
