Me..I think that Killer Mike falls in the same category as Mob Deep, Ghostface...he just really is not gonna do numbers. The loyal fans of his will continue to purchase, but the younger fans just don't, and won't get it. He's not commercial enough for him..his style is not like what the lil white kids want. I don't ever see him going platinum, probably not even gold..and I definetly don't think his team is gonna blow apart from Outkast. He would sell more with Big Boi simply because people would want to hear Big on the CD.

Lyrically Killer Mike is one of the best in ATL, but his songs don't sell well. There are a lot of MC's across the country that just don't get there props. I allways thought his style just did not fit the beat he was ryming over. Remember that verse he had on "never scared" by Bone Crusher, the beat was sic so that made his verse that much better. Some MC's never get that connection of beats and rymes. A song with a good beat will do better with the general hip-hop public than a MC spitting real nice lyrics. Only the real hip-hop heads can see how Mike can hang with any MC from ATL. MY TOP 5 "REAL MC'S" FROM ATL 1. ANDRE 3000 2.LUDACRIS 3.T.I. 4.BIG BOI 5.CEE-LO 6. JEEZY 7.KILLER MIKE. These cats can spit with the best from. WHAT!!!! anywhere.

Big ups to Killer Mike, the dude is one of the best in South right now period. That nigga gotta get away from the Purple Ribbon if they ain't gonna distribute and market his shit. His mic skills are too nice to be sittin around on a label that ain't gonna put out his album, even if the label is run by Big Boi.
