The Southern Entertainment Awards Allow Memphis To Shine

For those of you who missed the Dirty Awards last month, you still have a chance to see some of the same faces and performers at The Southern Entertainment Awards on Sunday, January 22nd in Tunica, MS. For the don't knows that's about 30 minutes outside of Memphis, TN. There will also be seminars and workshops during the 3-day event, with the awards show concluding everything on Sunday.

The SEA's are one of the few awards shows that give both artists and fans the opportunity to nominate and vote for the winners in each category. DJ Infamous, the founder of the awards show, saw the music conference and awards show as a way to promote and applaud the accomplishments of southern DJs, models, artists, magazines and websites. Coincidentally, ya' fam at SOHH.COM is up for a couple of SEA awards too, so take a picture playa.

We can expect to see a boatload of Memphis artists and less ATL artists, just the opposite of The Dirty's last month but with a long list of confirmed attendees it should be a nice awards show. You can get tickets for $60, sounds pretty steep but that's the going rate for an awards show these days.

This awards show doesn't pack as much glamour and glitz as The Dirty's, but hey it's entertainment.

what's really f*cked up is that the panels they have for the SEA's are FREE - put on by Ms. Wendy Day, but the blood sucking SEA's wanna tell people that they have 2 buy a $60 ticket to the Award show just to attend the panels. get the f*ck outta here with that shit. we all know wendy day don't try to charge peeps for knowledge but i'm very disappointed that the peeps who put together the SEA's would try and force folks to purchase a damn $60 ticket for some awards. WTF some peeps may just want knowledge and not b interested in no damn awards! nuf said.

first of all alot of you sites like one were totally on Ho-Zone Fagazines side. I was on that conference call to point out what a fruad JB is. You and a few other sites licked her ass and made her look like a queen. You wouldn't even let me tell my side of the story. She even called me the day after the conference and admitted that it was all for publicity.
