JD does deserve a a gang of props. Look at the Grammy's every Grammy Usher was nominated for JD and his team were nominated as well. In addition to boosting the succeses of Mariah,Lil Jon, and Usher, he is behind Anthony Hamilton as well!!!

Jermaine Dupri definitely deserves to be getting some major recognition, ten million times more than he is getting now!! JD is definitely #1 right now and is holding his own. His beats are really tight and he most certainly do deserve his props. Man people sometimes need to think before they speak. How many top artists have come off of Roc-A-fella? Jay-Z and Kanye West. How many top artists have come off of Bad Boy? Biggie, 112, Mase. Aftermath: Eminem. So So Def: Da Brat (Had rap album of the year with Funkdafied), Kriss Kross, Bow Wow, Xscape, Jagged Edge. This is all without even mentioning the fact that he is the executive producer behind waaaay tooooo many hits. Usher has done two albums with J.D. in charge and those albums both sold atleast 10 million copies. His other albums did not reach platinum status. Even Usher himself says that he has learned to stop stepping away from his hometeam because of that. Puffy did an Usher album and Usher almost got dropped.

Mariah Carey attempted two comebacks. The first barely went noticed because she did not have J.D. She got with him and look at what she has done.

Ok Mike Bell you do make a valid point but out of that list, how many artist are relevant today? That was basically what I meant when I made that comment. There is no denying what he has done in the music world but people don't give him his props because the biggest albums he has worked on are outside of SoSo Def. Alot of his major contributions have been behind the scenes. People don't know what he has done unless he lets it be know or if they check the credits. You did make a good point though.

He needs to do like Kanye West does. If Kanye produce a record, you will know because he will do the chorus or he will say or do something in the video or record that lets you know. A lot of people dont know that JD had something to do with Mariah or Usher's record. He'll get more recognition that way then he will get the props he deserves.

JD is hands down one of the best producers and song writers to ever touch the game. That little bastard is arrogant as hell though, but he can put it down in the studio where is counts. SoSo Def and BadBoy are the same can't keep artist on the label that are hot. I give him his props as a producer but he is weak as an artist and SoSo DEF is weak as a label.

JD deserves allot recognition. He has been in the game for a while- It seems as if he got his start w/Chris Cross and then TLC,Usher,BOW WOW, Brat and then he blew up I know I am missing a few more groups.
He has yet to make a real hot solo album he seems like he shines only when doing a colabo> That okay though he is in a good position>
I have to admit he put allot of good music in the game. It does help that his father is a music excutive, I am sure his pops took him unfder his wing and opened a few doors for him.
