Ying Yang Twins Dropping a Chopped and Screwed Version of U.S.A on August 9th
The Ying Yang Twins will be releasing a chopped and screwed version of their U.S.A (United States of Atlanta album on August 9th. The screwed version was remixed by DJ Michael Watts who has taken over the screw throne since the death of the late DJ Screw.
The original version has already gone gold in less than five weeks and I'm definitely feeling their club banger "Badd" a collabo with Mike Jones. I probably like that cut so much because I'm tired of hearing "Wait" although the screwed version is nice.
I don't know ATL but it seems to me that as I predicted earlier, Houston is coming for the title of kings of the south real strong. What more evidence than this? Why are so many artists coming out with chopped and screwed versions instead of let's say "crunk" versions. We need to step it up a notch ATL.
Has H-town already wrestled the crown away? We'll see. A couple years ago it was the Atlanta rappers etc.. crowding the stage at the end of the BET and Source awards, this year it was who? Mike Jones? who? Mike Jones? and the rest of the click Paul Wall, Slim Thug, Chamillionaire, Big Pokey etc...hmmm

the first album wuz cool but i dont think they should chop and screw it. dats just messin the whole album up. im sure some of those songs dont sound good chopped and screwed.

hey its about time h-town receives the attention it has had coming for years now the only problem i have with this is i dont appreciate artists that have no basis to chop and screw their album and to correct alot of people zro said it best all this music isnt screw the only person that had the right to say that was the late robert davis aka dj screw rip and for all those people trippin about houston ruling the south stop trippin be happy the south is finally on top now

Have you guys heard about the new record label in town "Atlanta Music Production" These cats are about to change the local music game. They are cioming with club banging his and they are also brining back that real music. The sining of Ariel Glover and De'kim is outstanding and all of the rappers need to recognize "G-Lover" this is the best rapper I've heard in recent years this is definite what The A-Town and all of the Dirty south need Real singing with real rap with a message. Fuck the Ying-Yang Twins. I got this album and at the same time wasted my $15. Its garbage from start to finish. Its crap-rap as far as im concerned,and i will never buy another one of there albums.Matter of fact i wish i could get a refund cause it made me sick. Anyone who liked this cd is not a TRUE hip-hop/rap fan.
