Her stories were being questioned and find out a lot of things she said in her book were not true of exaggerated. She tries to make herself innocent but she is the DEVIL in the blue dress. This girl's story is fascinating, scandalous, and horrifying at once. I fail to see how this "cautionary tale" is going to help one young woman. The thought of her giving motherly advice to young girls (she's still a girl herself) is frightening. Yes, she's going to make a great deal of money and she feels very successful with the accumlation of material things and money. She explained that there's more to come. She admitted during an interview that she an Kool G were never married (legally) common law only, so her son was born out of wedlock. She placed his (her son's) picture in the book and dedicated it to this little guy. She is indeed the girl in the Mr. Marcus video. She mentioned in an interview that she'll write more about her porn career in her next book. I agree with many of you, the men detailed in the book are less than human, especially those with children and wives. There is a higher power that will deal with them as well as this young lady. Saying that you're saved (because one night you're down on your knees for 45 minutes crying out) is one thing; however, once you are saved you no longer have the desire to continue to live the same life. I wasn't convinced after reading the book and even less after hearing the various interviews that her change is real. She admitted that she's angry with some of the men who wouldn't help her while down on her luck and wanted to hurt them. She hates her mother, (but she is her mother's twin). I hope that somewhere in all of this some one has loved and nourished her son, he's a beautiful little boy. He's innocent and it is unfortunate that we don't get to choose our parents. She's not the first to have come from difficulty and she won't be the last. I don't believe for a minute that she did this to help others, its purely greed, revenge, and anger. I heard her say that the book was therapeutic for her and that she's good. Counseling will help peel back the other layers if she's really interested in understanding and changing her life for her healing has only just begun. Money can buy you a lot of things, but it can't buy you salvation, respect or love. She said that she's still involved with a married man (Papa), and has found love in two months with Bill Maher. It sounds as if she has disdain for men of color, I hate to tell her, but men are men. I caution her to remember that she is raising a little man of color. I read the entire book and heard both radio interviews. The bottom line, if you put your business out there expect to defend and support what you stated. She was mad at Ja Rule because he had a baby on the way and at the same time she was with other men during the whole ordeal (how can you get mad at someone when your out there with your legs spread as well). Then she stated she was feeling RayJ and at the same time doing other brothers and then came back and made a statement that he found out about her and called her names.....I think the interviews was justified...she is with Bill Maher right now and made a statement she does not listen or like Hip Hop anymore but she is out there selling her books mostly to the Hip Hop culture. I am not in agreement with Karrine Steffans on the way in which she went about supporting herself and her son. However, I'm not judging her actions either. I personally feel that she should not be treated in a harsh manner because she has in no way behaved any differently than most people have that are in the entertainment industry.

In addition please spare me the "her son is going to live a harsh life because of her actions" comments.
