JD opens Cafe Dupri in Buckhead
Damn, it's beginning to feel like I'm doing street promo for Jermaine Dupri now, but the fact of the matter is that he's one of the few atlanta artists doing major things so far this summer. His most recent business endeavor is opening up Cafe Dupri, which was actually opened on June 6 but will have it's official grand opening on July 12th. Look for a bunch of celebs and big wigs to be in attendance on that day to celebrate the cafe's arrival.
I have had an opportunity to eat at the cafe already and it's definitely on point. I put it right up there with Diddy's restaurant Justin's. The ambience is cool, laid back with a nice hip hop feel to it. And the food, the food is excellent. Plus, it's open 22 hours a day, a good afterhours spot when leaving the club.
The menu is extremely diverse ranging from Eggs Portobello to Blackened Crawfish. It's on point. My favorite is already the homemade peach cobbler. JD is doing big thangs right about now and says that he wants So So Def Inc. to be a BILLION dollar enterprise soon. He is making the right steps in achieving that goal no doubt.
I suggest you get down to Buckhead and check out Cafe Dupri for an overall good experience. The spot is located at 3133 Piedmont Avenue, near a bunch of clubs and places to chill afterward in upscale Buckhead. You will probably catch me in there real soon myself.

This is a great move for JD. Thinking outside the BOX and not just following the trend like clothes, sneakers, etc. I hope more and more black people get to this level like JD is at now, at this rate, we defintaley call tell the government that we do not need no reprations, white folks in trailer parks need em.

LOVE Cafe Dupri. I'm probably the only asian femme you'll see there dining regularly during the mornings and afternoons, haha. Nice to say they already remember me :D.

I went there last night and me and the three ladies with had to wait an HR and A HALF for a fruit plate, caesar salad and two damn bowls of oatmeal???? Mind you Slim Thug and his entourage was in the private area getting steaks and eggs and chicken wings!! Thats how it goes down down huh JD?? WOW!!!
