Club Vision re-opens on Friday with host Destiny's Child
Club Visions, arguably one of the most popular clubs in A-town before going into remodeling phase (which was needed) will be re-opening this weekend with a bang. The grand re-opening on Friday, July 15th will be hosted by Destiny's Child, who will be hosting the official after party there after their probable final concert in Atlanta as a group (Time will tell if this breakup is official or not). The buzz is that Hova and Memphis Bleek will be there co-hosting as well with DJ Mars behind the tables.
I got a chance to get down there myself to see the new construction and if you have been to Visions previously, it has taken on a major facelift. The club now features five rooms and an upscale look that will probably reset the standard for the nightclubs here in Atlanta. Hardwood floors throughout the venue, twelve bars and sixty 42" Plasma screen televisions. Yeah, I said 60. It's on point.
The change is right on time because the scene has been getting pretty monotonous as of late so the change for better is definitely welcome and needed. Frank Ski and Ryan Cameron will be hosting every Friday from here on out but there are several nights open for promoters to get in and get something started, just be prepared to come out the pocket big time. But honestly, I needed a change of pace to offset the Strokers nights.
