No Disrespect...But Is Khaled Qualified To Be President of Def Jam South?

I know he can break records. But, I also know he can't break artist. Ace Hood anyone? I hear Khaled got Ace Hood 1.1 million for his deal. WTF?

I know its just a title with very little authority, but I still don't think homie is qualified. If you are lost on what I'm talking about, check out the story below.

DJ Khaled has officially been named President of Def Jam South. "This is what I've always wanted to do, is be an executive and take it to another level," Khaled told MTV. "L.A. [Reid] just hit me one day. He was like, 'We should bring Khaled on board. He makes hits, he has relationships.' I got a team of producers and we go in hard. My job is to bring hits to the table and work with new artists and work with established artists. I'm bringing new energy to the game and to the building." With his new spot, Khaled will be responsible for records by Ludacris, Young Jeezy, Ace Hood and of course Rick Ross. Rick Ross new album, Deeper Than Rap, will be the first release under Khaled's watch which he also A&R'd. [Source]

But I still had to pose the question.

WTF!!! U Can't Be Seroious...Is Def Jam really that desperate??? If fucking Hov and J.D couldnt' do shit for Def Jam, WTF makes you think this lame ass nigga is gonna do??? And just cause it's "Def Jam South", makes no fucking difference... Def Jam has lost it's appeal and credibility to rap artist and is starting to look like a bunch of tampons with huge ego's and large salaries..This label is a far cry from when Russell use to run it, and honestly I no longer respect Def Jam...They will do anything to make a quick buck and stay alfoat, rather than try to bring Hip-Hop back to it's prominence...I mean that's why Def Jam got into the business was cause of Rap Music...Now it's a fucking R&B company.....They game has really changed for the worst.....RIP Hip-Hop 1978-1999

Jeezy and Luda are a couple of the hottest artists in the game. If they give Luda a little promo in his singles he can be on top again. Instead of focusing on wack shit like Ne-Yo, Rihanna, Kanye, they should focus on some artists of Def Jam South.

SAD DJ KHALED...IS THE PRESIDENT OF OUR MUSIC...Black people need to step up to the plate and stop letting these non-african americans control what music Black people listen too and promote. ...I will do my job, how about you??
