JD Loses His Job And Possibly His Girl, Why So Quiet Jermaine??

I don't mean to go in on JD, but why is he so quiet?

If you haven't heard, Jermaine Dupri and Def Jam are finally parting ways. Any of the dedicated SOHH.com readers knows that I already put you all onto that info months ago. I received a call from a Def Jam source who told me it was happening back when I reported on it back in October.

Though I had my dates wrong, the foundation of the story ended up being correct.

But I'm, looking at JD crazy b/c he's being so mum on the topic. Jermaine is one of the most noticeable celebrities that's taken to the web like no other. Between his popular Youtube channel, global14.com and themostaccess.com JD hasn't made a peep about his termination.

Dupri has a new deal with TAG records and still has some cash in the bank. So it's not like his termination at IDJ is a bad thing, per say.

Personally, I'm disappointed that the 'mogul' is choosing to not address the ousting. I mean hell, he had to see it coming. Stevie Wonder saw this happening. The hit making producer hasn't faired too well as an executive for the fleeting record label. Out of all the artists he's signed, Anthony Hamilton was the only artist JD successfully sold to consumers. All other artists, including his once superstar girlfriend, have either bombed on billboard or haven't even had the opportunity to make it to the charts.

I'm hearing that JD is just the first of many who will be getting their pink slips this year. With the music industry hurting the way that is labels simpy can not afford all the overhead.

There's also word that Janet has quit Jermaine as well. Let's hope that information is just random gossip because to lose ya girl and ya job within weeks of each other isn't the best way to kick off 2009.

Too fukin bad. Sick of nigaz talking about they ballin, heaven forbid these cats having to work a regular job, they would kill themselves.

Lil Scrappy, Franchise Boyz, all them nigaz.

JD better lick Bow Wow's azzhole real good cause thats the only way he eating. Brat dyke azz aint doing shyt but munching on carpet.

Cant wait to see all these mouthy stuntin azz nigaz making Subway sandwiches, how it feel bytch?

why is it always assumed that when these people lose a job or have bad sells on one album they are broke! I doubt it! JD is very smart with money, when they look like they ballin trust most of the clothes and shoes are FREE! JD been doing this too long to be anywhere near broke! why would he lick Bow Wows nut$, i believe hes the reason for Bows success not the other way around. come on people!

What does JD do for Bow Wow now? Not a cotdayum thing but spend his money when it comes in. Who do you think would be up shyt creek more if Bow Wow left?

Exactly.

This the same JD who didnt pay his workers after Cafe Dupri shut down. Too fukin cheap to pay people the money that was owed to them.

I hope Janet really DID leave JD. She could do WAY better. But in JD's defense, Janet didn't really love him anyway. She just used him to produce her albums. After two consecutive bombs under JD's watch, I think she's decided that Jermaine can't really do much for her anymore.
