Asher Roth, B.O.B. & Attitude continues to collect co-signs from the hip-hop media.
Jumptheturnstyle.com, have named the two hip-hop freshman one of the Top 8 Rappers who got a lot of blog love in 2008.
You've seen them in your RSS readers
all year long. You've heard them on Last.fm, MySpace, imeem, YouTube,
Twitter, and Facebook. Some owe their entire careers solely to the
"blogosphere".

Essentially
I guess what I would be if I could rap and was slightly more of a
pretty boy.. Ok, a lot more of a pretty boy. I also draw inspirations
from Dave Matthews Band and Dire Straights, so I guess this kid can't
be all bad? Can he? Asher Roth also landed on that XXL cover, and
well.. hip hop is pretty much dead anyway right?
Roth grew up
in the suburbs of Pennsylvania, his hobbies included surfing the
internet and attending keg parties. He's now signed to a major label.
This is what you need to do in 2008 to get a deal. Rap over the Reading Rainbow beat:

Ahhh..
big B.O.B. -- in 2009 B.O.B. will be a millionaire. How do I know this?
Because this man's blog / internet promo game is THE TIGHTEST on the
webs. Rarely does a day go by when I don't see a mention of B.O.B. in
my inbox, and 95% of the time it's great shit. In my opinion, his
crowning achievement in 2008 was this autotune video. Lulz. He's also on that XXL cover sh*t.
Find out who else made the list here.
But That's Not It....
Warner Music Group's Attitude is also an artist to look out for in 2009.
According to Metromix.com, Attitude is gonna make it pop.
After writing Nelly Furtado's hit record "Promiscuous Girl", MMX can
see why Timothy Clayton has an Attitude. Commanding the production
talents of Atlanta Super Producers Lil John and Drummer Boy in
addition to the production talents of Timeberland, equals a debut
album that won't be forgotten in 2009. The single "Blow Ya Back Out"
is currently taking over urban radio staion everywhere. [Source]
