Gyant Chat's It Up With Travis 'Tiny' Webb, Aspiring Producer Blends Musical Skills With Bodyguard Beats [Video]!

Early in the summer I did a post on Bodyguard/Producer Travis 'Tiny' Webb. After years of putting his life at risk to protect the likes of JD, Ne-Yo, Janet Jackson, Rich Harrison, etc. the seven-foot plus, 300lb plus, Bodyguard is a bangin' producer and is focusing his sights on banging beats, rather then knuckleheads. I got a chance to catch up with the incredibly engaging producer/musician at the legendary Patch Werk studio's. Check out sit down below.
Tiny's been sending me over his work for the past several months. The reserved industry veteran is talented beyond belief. And the most interesting element of Tiny's skill is that the brutha plays instruments. He's a classically trained pianist and has a vast talent outside of pro tools and fruit loops [or whatever you call it], which is rare when dealing with today's most popular producers.
In a time where producers receive more shine then artists, it's clear that many of today's top producers are not trying to extend their hand in helping Tiny get any further then he is right now. After years of submiting music and allowing his clients hear some of his music people are f*cking with Tiny..but they aren't f*cking with Tiny.
A lot of you may not realize, but today's celebrities, Beyonce Knowles included is not about helping anyone, but themselves. Often times when celebs eye someone doing it as good, if not better than them they become haters, who will do any and everything to keep you out.
Often times aspiring musicians and entertainers can garner accolades from everyone in the biz, yet still not get anywhere. I know of artist who were sought out by top tier entertainers just to end up signed and shelved so that the new up and comer cant step on the current celebrity's situation.
Luckily enough for all of us, today's bloggers can put their shine on people who are deserving of true success.
