Drama's got a new artist that's on the come up. Check it out below.

Willie The Kid born and raised in Grand Rapids, Michigan, his is not the typical rapper's tale. Located two hours West and East of Detroit and Chicago respectively, West Michigan didn't have much to offer in the early 1980s. Like many urban areas, it offered underprivileged African-American people nothing but the stark contrast between their lives and that of their upper class counterparts. With limited outlets for the urban youth, fast money became the common alternative.

Yet rather than fall prey to the convenient access to drugs and violence, Willie The Kid uses the bleak landscape of his childhood stomping grounds as inspiration for his music and motivation for his career. The son of a DJ who was down with the culture from its onset, Willie grew up in a home where Hip-Hop was the ideology of choice.

It was only a matter of time before Willie and his brother starting coming up with their own rhymes, making microphones from a pair of broken headphones, which they connected to a boom box. Around the age of 12, as his brother, La The Darkman, got his industry break through a deal with Wu Tang, Willie the Kid got his first notebook and truly started writing. This happened during the late 1980s, early 1990s, to which he refers as the Golden Age of rap music.

With influences such as Nas, Wu Tang Clan, and Jay-Z, Willie the Kid is a true writer, a story teller who's word play and vivid descriptions put his listeners in a zone.

His new song "Love For Money" is a dope record that's been rockin in my iPod for a minute.

[Listen To "Love For Money" Here]

This dude is dope hands down! I mean the song is totally relate-able. Everyone has a love for money.

Don't make me pull an Asher, B.o.B. and Rock City on this cat. We need the young cats to come in and give us something fresh and innovative to work with.

I don't know about you, but I'm tired of hearing Jay-Z, Diddy, Jermaine Dupri, Nas the list could go on.

What y'all think of homie?

Speak up!!

Talk to y'all lata,

willie is wack, aphilliates fell off, drama is played. and they got everybody and they momma on this song. leave it on the curd and i will swing by and pick it up. Trashman cometh!

first off willie is gettin mad spins here in the gun, the songs is old as hell, its been since last year, and Absolute Greatness is not an album its a Gangsta Grillz album of course Drama's name would be first, every song on it is from a previous mixtape, ThaKang, "The Day the Game Changed" is a str8 banger but "Divide & Conquer" was a str8 classic, and not to mention he held his own against lil weezal, i would'nt say i'm getting tired of jay-z but nas has fallen off, and so has everybody else (Luda, The Game, 50, G-Unit, Jadakiss, etc.) all the other new cats such as ace hood, shawty lo and rocko all suck but willie is actually saying something and its about time he got some love on this biast site...

Well I'm acquainted with some people on AMG (Aphilliates Music Group). Although I've never spoken with WTK personally, I can say that whatever lack of sales he has isn't AMG's fault, but the fault of their distributing label Asylum Records. Asylum Records doesn't promote any of their artists to the degree they need, they simply distribute the product. So, whenever you see videos, billboards, web ads, mag ads, etc., please understand that those are payed for directly out of the pockets of AMG members, namely Willie the Kid's older brother and manager La The Darkman. If you ask me WTK just caught a bad deal going with Asylum if you ask me.

CAUGHT A BAD DEAL. Shut The Fukup.

The people at AMG (Aphilliates Music Group) are sorry as hell, and dont put in no work. They signed a deal with Asylum and was given 1.5mil and still cant make it happen, they all suck !!! Asylum gives distribution deals to labels or Wannabe's. Whomever the artist is signed to is responsible for the marketing, mag ads, billboards, etc. The AMG group are terrible with business and "thats the bottomline" homey!!

You cant sell thousands or millions of records, cds, downloads sitting on your ass. Or because you roll with DRAMA ( he's proven that he cant sell a lot of his own material with a deal with Atlantic) He's a bunch of HYPE and the streets know it , so does Jeezy !! He does not have the same light and respect he had when he first came on the scene. He cant DJ !! In MIA they look at him as a joke.

Real recognize Real!!

This nigga Willie is far from hot! He's a swagger jackin' rhyme biter from Gun Rule. Its plenty of rap niggas from Gun Rule is blowin' that boy out the water. Pay Attention
