I know I am super late with this New Era HSBU event, but seeing as though I love New Era gear and Publicist-extraordinaire Nicole Garner, I had to compile this post on the fly event from two weeks ago. Check it out.

Bobby Valentino, Killer Mike, Q Paker (112), Dorian (BET's "College Hill"), and DJ Mars (Superfriends DJ) were all in the building for the historic affair. New Era has teamed up with Historic Black Colleges to create an apparel collection, that was designed to carve out a fashion forward collegiate license apparel brand "in an undeserved market".

The homie DJ Mars, his son and V103's Ramona.

The ambiguous homie, Dorian. Sigh, I need a reality show.

So I know where I will be rushing off to today to go and purchase me some collegiate swag.

Shout out to all the kids who are doing the post-secondary school thing as a HBCU.

Q and guest.

Shout out to Trauma, Killer Mike and Bobby Valentino.

Though I didn't get a chance to make it to this event, it looks like it was quite a good time.

Thanks to Nicole Garner for the invite.

But Let's Move On....

It looks like now that T.I. has had his shine with his monstrous new album, which just SOHH happens to be my most favorite album this year, thus far. Grand Hustle is gearing up for  some other artists. There's just one small problem.

OK, SOHH I feel the overwhelming need to say, that I got a lot of luv for Young Dro and the entire Grand Hustle and P$C squad.

And I'm especially keeping my ears open for this Young LA dude. Now having said that, I've got to admit that their new song "Take Off" , for me, falls short of the mark.

[Listen to "Take Off" Here] - yea, Zshare sucks!

[Try This One]

They were off to a good start with the hit remix "Aint I". But this one falls flat for me. I mean what are they really saying?

When I got this track emailed to me there wasn't anything accompanied with it so I don't know if its Dro's first single for his album or what. But either way,  I'm amped to see what Young Dro is going to do with his new album

Talk to y'all lata,
