T.I.'s Paper Trail Is Easily One Of The Best Albums Of 2008. "Live Your Life" Speaks To Every Single Person In America!!!!

I've got to take this opportunity to say that I take back everything I've said about the true King of the south, Clifford Harris, Jr AKA T.I.
I spent the entire weekend cooped up in my apartment hanging out with
the chief, listening to Tip's newest album, and I've got to give the man
a blogging ovation. Paper Trail is a collection of classic
music that's both reflective and compelling. It's a well rounded body
of work, and easily my second favorite hip-hop album of the year [and no, Wayne's is not the first].
I'm even starting to like the collaborative efforts of "Swagger Like Us".
But
with the economy in shambles, and with so many people losing their
homes, jobs and automobiles from people living well beyond their means,
Tip's collaboration with Rhianna, "Live Your Life" should be the next
single because it speaks DIRECTLY to each and every one of us.
it's
my opinion that this song should be the next single. It's already
number one itunes.

I'm often times clowned, by how I dress, and my very simple way of life. But I took the red pill along time ago. [That was a Matrix reference for the slow].
After
f*cking my credit up by trying to live for everyone else in my early
twenties, I got my sh*t together; paid my dues and have come out of it
a wiser man. But a lot of you people are still walking blind trying to
live your life for everyone but yourself.
There's an idea that
industry people, need to look "the part" in order to be taken seriously
in the game. And that notion has penetrated itself into our everyday
way life. Our current culture has become so infatuated with celebrity
lifestyles that most people have been brain washed into thinking that
they too should be able to floss like a celebrity. The everyday working
man [and woman] are trying to live like Tip, Jay-Z and Beyonce on managerial and business administration salaries. WTF!!!!!
$400.00
jeans, $1000.00 handbags , sprawling estates - you'd be surprised at
the lengths people go to just so that the world will take notice of who they are. Not
realizing that the more financially extended you become the more banks
and creditors own you.
I don't want to get all deep with it; but all this country is going through stems from a lack of self value.
When are people going to realize that it's not what you have, but who you are that makes you - you? But I digress.
"Live
Your Life" is a message about taking charge of your life. Brush the
haters off. Stop worrying about what people think about you. Stop
trying to perpetrate a fraud by driving a Mercedes Benz if all u really
can afford is a Honda. It's amazing how the concept of this song has
come right on time. And when you throw in ALL the other tracks [except the one with Ludacris, I still think that one is "ehh" at best] this is easily one of Tip's best albums to date.
It's
inspiring to see a man, who this time last year was going through one
of the toughest times, rise from the ashes and create beautiful music.
Why is that most people seem to be the most creative when we're faced
with moments of adversity?
Y'all know me; I'm a real dude. If
I think something is whack, I'll say it. But, when I think something is
prolific and out of this world, then I'll be the first one to give
someone their props.
It's estimated that Tip's newest album will hit the charts on Wed in the 600-700k range.
It's
not Lil Wayne numbers, but Wayne is a novelty [YEA I SAID IT]. Where
as T.I. is will be a long lasting legend in the game we call hip-hop.
Thank you for putting out some decent music, T.I.
Talk to y'all lata,

Yeah, niggaz...Herbz in this piece, what it do?! Shout out to my nigga Gyant for single-handedly bringing sohh.com back out the dumpster. This fool's programming skills are world class so I knew we'd have sohh.com up and running within a few months of the breakdown. Yeah, MONTHS...
Now, I was also chilling in an apartment this weekend with "The Chief," and "The Chief's daughters," but we we're more in to the slow grind type tunes. I'm still waiting on my nigga Illegal1's review of Paper Trail. If that nigga says it's hot, then it's fuego, nahmean?!
And to the muthafuckas that tried to burn down my spot Havana Restaurant on Buford and N. Druid, I'm a find you niggaz. I'm a pay the nigga on the corner a ham sandwich to rat you little niggaz out! Ain't nobody gonna disrespect the establishment where I get my Ropa Vieja and Batida de Fresa on....NOBODY. When I find you, I'm a make your mothers cook me up some Maduros or some Tostones so I can keep the weight on. Your days are numbered, niggaz...

Its kind of crazy how this is about livin your life for you, then you got a grown man waitin on another person to decide if he likes the music! If you like the music, like it for you, not for what someone else thinks. Damn! Back to the subject, Paper Trail is the realest album of the year. Tip did his damn thing
