SOHH Gyant Randomness: I Think Nelly Is On To Something!!

Am I spotting a trend? Yesterday I was taking my usual stroll around the internet, when I spotted a story about Nelly, and how he is about to form a super group. The group would consist of Nelly, Akon, Pharell, and T-Pain.
Immediately it dawned on me that we are in the midst of a new trend in this wretched industry we all call the "music business".
Could teaming up one artist with another in a package deal help boost suffering profit shares?
Not that they both need it all, but if Jay-Z and Lil' Wayne teamed up on a joint album it would shatter records. I even hear that Kanye and Lupe Fiasco are linking up for a new album.
What if Monica and Brandy decided to join forces on a joint album. The interest for worlds interest in them would spike. Think up a great marketing plan around those two and send that project to the moon.
And if Lil' Kim and Foxy got on a project together they could have a shot at coming back. Solo they stand no chance in doing it. And they can keep hating each other. They can even go at each other, but its a respect and love their that keeps it on waxx. Title that sh*t Lil' Kim/Foxy Brown = Love/Hate and it would be a WRAP!!!!!
And it shouldn't stop there because, what the record labels could do is start letting the fans decide who they wanted to hear collaborate. There could be internet surveys set up all over the internet to obtain data on which fan would like to see what.
With sales down like they are. This idea is worth looking into.
