Dallas Austin Releasing A Solo CD - WTF?? + DJ Shakim Drops Another SOHH ATL Mix!!!

While I'm still collecting various BET Hip-Hop Award weekend footage, I was checking the SOHH News department. And a new report on Dallas "Damn" Austin had me slamming on my breaks while I was driving....and I'm not kidding.

OK SOHH according to Cyrus, Dallas "Damn" Austin has just signed a deal with Universal to drop his first every solo CD.

Check this ish it out:
The Grammy- winning, Atlanta hit maker will provide fans with a mixture of his signature beats for the debut, along with cameos from artists like George Clinton, Goodie Mob's Big Gipp, Novel, Colin Munroe and others. With Austin's long track record of hit singles, major record label Universal Motown has decided to team up with the producer for his forthcoming album.

"Dallas is a true innovator and a visionary," Universal Motown President Sylvia Rhone said in a statement. "He has put his unique stamp on an extraordinary array of hit music over the past two decades. So it comes as no surprise that his long-overdue solo debut is a brilliant, groundbreaking project that crosses boundaries, both musical and visual, to tell a compelling real-life story."
Led by the album's first single, "Exasperated," the 11-track project tells the story about a real-life woman named Daisy that Austin befriended.[Source]
OK, now I am not trying to hate on the fleeting producer, but don't nobody care about what the hell Dallas is doing. He hasn't had a hit in God knows how long.

Could this sudden "inspiration" to put out his own music stem from a need to take another dance with the white lady? [Only a druggie will get my last sentence.]

All I know is that this album is a flop and it hasn't even dropped yet.

All these washed up has been's getting all kinda deals, but don't nobody want to give Gyant a reality show? Ain't that a b*tch?
