While there's clearly some problems going on with Big Boi's new
album Sir Luscious Left Foot: The Son of Chico Dusty because the
release date is still up in the air. However, that's not preventing the
southern MC from getting some luv from GQ magazine. Check out some
pictures from magazine spread below.
Big
Boi's second single from his anticipated album isn't fairing so well,
which could possibly push the album back to a later date. I have no
information confirming this, but generally labels don't promote a
project without a strong radio buzz.
Especially when you get to Big
Boi's status in the game. Let's keep our fingers crossed.
But I got to give him props on landing a new deal with Coca-Cola's "Full Throttle" energy drink. His new campaign will focus on the relaunch of Full Throttle Fury with a completely new look and
experience, in an attempt to tap the lucrative African-American male
demographic.
It looks like the union between he and Grand Hustle is already starting off on the right foot.
But Let's Move On.........
Tips weekend went off without a hitch. And though the gas shortages kept me from participating in everything. The homie, Freddyo scored a bunch of exclusive shots. Check some of them out below.
Though the turnout was small for the Grand Hustle comedy show, I heard that the jokes were endlessly funny.
We
always got to show luv to the DJ. I know this kat is gonna kill me because
he's introduced himself to me several times, yet his name always escapes me.
Rico blessed the audience with a performance. I heard he's doing his thing. You know he's Fantasia's big brother, right?
T.I. cracking up at something funny.
Grand Hustle's Lil Duval doing what he does best. I know y'all have
seen the R.Kelly video, right? That's how the sh*t should've gone.
I mean to include this picture of Executive Vice President [or something like that] of JD's new TAG records, Mr. Jerry Clark.
