There's a hot new artist coming out of the West coast that I just got to show some luv to. Glasses Malone is his name and he's already getting co-signed by Baby and Lil Wayne.

Glasses Malone, or G.Malone is from Los Angeles and he's signed to Cash Money Records. His new single "Haterz" featuring Lil Wayne and Baby is catching a lot of attention. And after almost three years of officially being in the industry [according to wikepedia], G is gearing up for the release of his debut album Beach Cruiser: The Story.  Check out his video:

One of my industry connects reached out to me late last week about the big homie.  As many of you know SOHH.com got rid of its west coast blog some time ago, and it seems Mr. Malone is not too happy that one of the leading hip-hop websites turned our backs on his region.

SOHH to make up for it not only am I showing the brutha some luv, but I am also interviewing the budding rap star soon.

Y'all already know me, I'm a real dude. I can't say that I am all that familiar with Glasses Malone. Anything outside of "Haterz" and I couldn't tell you anything about him. But I plan on changing that real soon.

Yeah, Glasses Malone is a beast and has been for a while. White Lightening Sticks(the mixtape that got him signed) Is a classic. It came out in *05. Props on the profile.

ive only heard him on a song on Lil Waynes Party in the Bag Mixtape on a remix with Akon,Bun B & Lil Wayne, he ripped that shit though

1. glasses is not a new rapper.
2. just because you havent heard of him doesnt make him new.
3. haterz was getting lots of plays before the forums went down.
4. his first single "fucc with me" came out in 06.

SOHH should be renamed SECHH, "Support East Coast Hip Hop". Most of the blogs on here hate on the west and south. Gyant your showing nobody love. The fact that SOHH got rid of the west coast blog shows that there is definetely no love for the west. Everytime there is news about the Game, ya'll hate. But when anything on the East is poppin, your all over it like flys on shit. I ain't hatin on the East, but there is more than just East Coast hip hop. Bring back the west coast blog.
