It's hard to imagine that just a year ago I thought you might be able to own your responsibility as a role model - or see yourself as a more a journalist.

You know 3 months ago I stated that SOHH ATL was nothing more than a rumor machine, a statement that you aggressively refuted.

But here we are. You taking the time to only report something that isn't newsworthy, but put your own spin on it.

So when is a celebrity exempt from paying child support on time because of their management? A father or mother is just that. Any woman or man that would allow a manager or accountant to keep their child from eating or properly sheltered is a monster. Maybe an ignorant one. Maybe a lazy one. Maybe just a blind one.

BUT - that's not the real point. The real issue that YOU and I have no right to determine whether is Joc's or his child's mother that is at fault.

You know it would take me about an hour to find out who your parents are. What if I opened a blog where I discussed the details of your family? Painted your family unfavorably? Do you remember what it was like when you realized people actually listened to SR's comments about you? How thousands of people turned on you? How did that feel?

But here are again. You dishing out venom. The same venom that is stalling your career. Ruining your name. Making the very people you interview sneer behind your back.

Take - A - Chill - Pill. This isn't a white folks blog. Black people have limits. Or at least we used to. We don't go "all out" on people like we have no common sense.

That woman has no voice. She is not a celebrity. $2,000 might be the world to her. It might mean the difference between a home for her child and living in a shelter. You do not know her situation. Don't take her voice away. Don't demoralize her in front of the public. Don't take her through something that you would hate for someone else to take your mother through.

Remember, what you dish out could easily be given back to you ten-fold. Any fairly competent researcher could begin picking your little life apart. And guess what? They'd be wrong too.

1. for all u kno SPONSOR...the csea agency in his state may just be fumbling up jocs paper work n her being the recipient of all the checks and not seein them automatically alarms her as if the dad is not payin anything...but in actuallity the situation could easily be resolved if she called her csea and ask for a checks recieved reciept...
2. it may be his staff that is messing up...being on tour your not really woried as to when ur bills get paid as to HOW they get paid...he could be under the assumption that his debts were being paid n were not being taken care of...
3. if 2000 dollars might be the world to the mother of one child of a celebrity who easily has amassed a milli a milli in his career somethin is wrong...his child should be very well taken care of off of $260 a month as plenty of military parents and civilian parents children are...so y belly ache about $2000 when if he never sells another record in his lifetime n goes back to d-boying she would only recieve the state minimum...$78, 125, 250 at best...

In defense of Gyant but I am sure he does not need my help, this is an entertainment blog and if mainstream media is going to report on a member of the hip hop community then at least he (Gyant) is affording the people who do care about the issue enough to educate and enlighten us of how something like this even came to the forefront of mainstream news. The question I would ask is why did his "baby mama" feel the need to contact the media in the first place? The courts in Georgia and across the country have mechanisms in place to compel fathers or mothers to own up to there responsibilities so it is my opinion that she did this for shock effect and to possibly tarnish Yung Joc's image with his friends and fans. However I can't accept the excuse or reasoning that his schedule was too busy or that he delegated his financial responsibility to his child to a third party with not at least verifying it had been taken care of. There are always checks and balances that would have easily flagged this "oversight" and to pass the buck is not the answer.

Hood rat? What the hell does this phase mean? If the sex was consensual and I am sure it was in their case, why does this sister have to be referred to as a hood rat? Wouldn't they both be considered hood rats?

why would someone contact the media? because a celebrity can use lawyers, publicists, managers, groupies, bodyguards, accountants, personal assistants and hanger-ons to make it virtually impossible to see even...well, to even see the father of your child.

a woman with nothing couldn't possibly take on a man with those resources (read: slavemasters) at his disposal (read: watching his every move). They want him working, not caring for his child.

I have to agree with The Sponsor, if the woman has a legitimate reason to call him out on not supporting his offspring then he needs to settle the issue in a legal manner or continue to be ridiculed. The press release was issued by her attorney. That's no secret. And sure, once she gets the payments up her attorney will advise her to go back to court and ask for more. IF she is a decent sister (and no one but she and Joc knows if she really is) she will stay honest and only ask for what's due to her child.

The mentality is this: If you got a Range Rover (or two) your child shouldn't be going to public school and eating Bologna everyday. Is this a good mentality? I dunno.
