You know I've always said that the record labels never start trends, they simply follow them. And that notion helps me understand why a new up and coming producer, who also happens to be a bodyguard to the stars is having trouble getting his musical respect in the game.
I've been hearing about Atlanta native [Zone 4] Travis Webb, known by many as Big Tiny, an aspiring producer who's been doing it big with his bodyguard beats. He's a professional bodyguard to the stars and has worked with everyone from Janet Jackson to Collipark. You could imagine my hesitation to take him seriously, but after taking the time to listen to his music I've got to give Tiny an honorable mention.
Tiny started doing the bodyguard thing at age 19 and has easily become one of the most sought after bodyguards in the game. And though he is the one you want next to you should some ish go down he's also a well skilled beatmaker.
The gargantuan protector is a beast in the studio and is already getting praises from the likes of Big Boi, Manny Fresh, Jazze Pha, Rich Harrison, Collipark and Ne-Yo.
And while protecting celebrities from groupies and faux shootouts is his job, music is his first love. He's been playing the keyboard since age 4 and is ready to make the full time switch to producing. Here are some samples of his work. Check it out.
As you can hear, big homie's got skills. SOHH let's see who's going to step up and give him the chance to knock it out the park on their project.
If you wanna get some beats or contact Tiny you can hit him up at his [myspace page]. And if any artists who I fux with wanna get in contact with him just hit me and I'll make it happen.
Talk to y'all lata,
