Big Boi stopped by Angie Martinez's HOT 97 radio program to talk about his new album Sir Luscious Left Foot: The Son of Chico Dusty. But guess who wants to take on Nelly as the underwear model for Sean John.
The interview was all fluff, but it's still a good look to get on HOT 97. I've been reaching out to Big Boi's people trying to get a listen to the project, but it's yet to happen. Big Boi himself promised me it would happen, but who knows at this point.
But I wonder if you all the fans are feeling the tracks that have come out so far. The first single from the album, "Royal Flush" featuring Andre 3000 & Raekwon got an OK response and his follow up "Somethings Gotta Give" featuring Mary J. Blige is still too new to offer up an opinion. But check out the new video
After more than 10 years in the game Mr. Patton and Mr. Benjamin have solidified themselves amongst the many threads of hip-hop SOHH I already know that album sales won't be a problem.
Disturbing Tha Peace's AJ Dixon just sent me over a new track from Atlanta's two Kings called "Wish You Would". The new music comes from Ludacris new album Theater of the Mind and co stars T.I.

[Blog edit 10:40AM: Did I under hype the collaboration between these two guys? I've gotten a few emails and phone calls about my response and I want to make sure that I am not downplaying this team up. Maybe I needed to hear the song in a the club with a few drinks in my system first. I think it's great that T.I. is really sticking to his "peace" and "positivity" mantra, however until he and Chaka Zulu collaborate on something I don't really see the "bigness" of this song.
SOHH far out of all the tracks that I have heard from Paper Trail this one is my least favorite. Am I hatin'?/Blog edit]
Talk to y'all lata,
