Here's the new cover to Jeezy's highly anticipated album The Recession. It's dark and subtle, but I think it's kind of fly. Check below for videos of Jeezy talking with Angie Martinez and DJ Clue about the album, the state of the music business and of course Keyshia Cole.
Check out Jeezy talking to Clue about the new album and this crazy ass music business and the power of the blogs. It's pretty funny to here Mr. Jenkins talking about pushing his album by giving away posters. LOL. Posters don't work anymore. Trust and believe that the internet is the way.
For those of you who don't know Jeezy is out in LA filming a movie with Ice Cube where the southern rapper is playing himself in the new comedy. Trust and believe that I'm on the CTE team about getting an exclusive listen to the new project.
Talk to y'all lata,

The internet is NOT the way to promote music. How many albums are going to have to flop before the business realizes that? The number one music (in popularity) is House music. People go crazy and get addicted to that shit. Which spreads from ACTUAL word of mouth, not internet bullshit. The internet is good for music consumption, not fully all out promotion..
Damn... Angie Martinez could mother my babies for reals. How many you want, girl?
Is niggaz still feeling Jeezy? I thought his last album was already kinda washed up. Now this nigga thinks he's coming with that so-fresh-so-clean new-newness? With a Kanye verse? Nigga, you crazy?!
