Asher Roth continues to get the whole industry's attention. Three months ago alot of people didn't know who this kat was. But, fast forward to today and now he's breaking bread with the likes of Ludacris and Chaka Zulu. Whether you think Asher can rap or not, at this point is irrelevant, because the young MC is generating all kind of buzz and he hasn't even dropped his first album.

Check out the video below of Ludacris and Asher Rother discussing business over dinner.

Asher is doing the damn thing. And if any of you can't give the man his props then you're the epitome of what a "hater" really is.

Two days after Young Jeezy's "Put On" video finally dropped Luda has put out a song from the new Gangsta Grillz Mixtape "The Preview". The song is titled "Put On The Remix". Have a listen below.

Personally the track was OK to me. It started off fly as hell, but somewhere in the middle he lost me.  I like the current references though. What do you all think?

i gotta admit i was skeptical b/c every rapper these days no matter skin tone gets all this hype and then just falls off or they just aint got no talent (prime example papoose), but I gotta a hold of the Greenhouse Effect mixtape and dude was spitting that shit! in the video he seem real humble for someone new to the game, instead of acting like a groupie like so many others in front of big names like Luda

Ok, I like this kid a little bit. He's grown on me since I picked up The Greenhouse Effect. He ripped "Mr. Me 2" and "A Milli"...buuuuut I must say this little videotaped dinner seemed to be a little forced to me. First of all, it was kind of pitiful to see the people standing around on the outside trying so hard to be down with everyone that had seats. Secondly, it was all just a show. I mean Chaka Zulu had no idea what Asher was wearing the first time they met and Asher spent the whole time trying to say the "right" things to Luda and Chaka. He seemed to be trying real ard to compliment them and be down.

The funniest part to me was Luda's lack of interest. Dude was texting the whole time until he had to play nice at the end! He was probably like "Go make an album first and get past all the soon-to-come Eminem Part 2 comments that are sure to come".

That being said, Asher is nice and unique in today's very formulaic hip-hop world (and not just because he's white).

You going a little TOO hard for Asher now.
I can't even trust what you're reporting.
When you initially started talking about dude I checked him out on the strength of your word. I even put his mixtape up on my blog for Mixtape Monday's. I like dude flow and the angle he's coming from. But now it's becoming obvious that SCOOTER must have cut a check to you.
This video and none of the other ones of ASHER with celebrities are impressive when you understand who SCOOTER is.
When you write you make it seem like ASHER is so tight that he's getting an audience with these people on the strength and that is not the case. Scooter is a CERTIFIED HUSTLER (check the article he got in Creative Loafing) and has done some type of work or retrieved a check for every person he has brought ASHER in front of. So them cats owe him. I'm not saying dude ain't got talent and can't hold his own, but there's a camera in the room and SCOOTER got Ludacris a $10+ Mil situation with Pontiac when that deal went down (if I'm not mistaken)so I doubt cats'll make him look bad on camera.
Please don't become like The Source Magazine bruh, keep it one hundred with us!!!

This Guy is a triple A rapper. He's good but his material is some heard before bullshit. And no he is not known in Atlanta exept maybe two blocks whereever that is. Respect the city. or get dumped on . As a matter of fact go get a deal.
