Right about now Lil' Wayne, and the world, are learning a very valuable lesson. And that lesson is not to f*ck with the DJ. Like that old 70's [or was it 80's song] "Last Night A DJ Saved My Life" they can just as easily eff it all up. I don't think I have ever seen a leak of this magnitude so far in the history of leaks. The Carter III is EVERYWHERE. So what does Wayne do to try and combat the leak? He takes to Atlanta's own DJ Drama to clear up his position on the "Fuck Mixtape DJ's" issue. Have a listen below.
DJ Drama interviewed Lil' Wayne on the Aphilliates Sirius Satellite Radio show last night and here's what Wayne had to say:
SOHH do you all believe him? If he really only meant to cuss out one mixtape DJ then why not just do that then to such a broad statement? At this point the only thing Weezy and his label can do is to release his album ASAP.
It's just bad business to wait until June 10th. I posted the album tracks over the weekend. I could've posted the actual album download, but I'm a new Gyant. With all that I saw out there I decided to post the lesser evil. To download these tracks I posted takes a lot more work then everything else out there.
I didn't pull a T.I.!
Am I the only one who still cringes when I hear non-black people call black people niccas? I'm just sayin.
But putting all that aside I got to say that "Mr. Carter" feat Jay-Z is my FAVORITE track of entire CD. It's been on repeat on my iPod.
Talk to y'all lata,
