Well, you can't say you're from somewhere just because you've been there. For instance, Tip could've been to Bankhead and may have been accepted there by whomever, and felt he could claim that area as his hood. You could have family, or friends that live there you visit. It could be where he spent most of his time doing God knows what. The friendliest, clean-cut person could be the most cold-blooded individual behind the scenes. So Im from the westside zone 4...

The house were they found all of those guns (which is down the street from camp creek marketplace) is actually less than 20 minutes from where I grew up...

What grade that high school picture is from is an important question to ask. Because my understanding of his story is that he dropped out of high school and then started to acting a fool on the streets of the westside... and also most of his arrests were in cobb county which is on the Northwest side of town and futon which is the westside of the city and just south of it. Now of course we all know that riverdale is south of town but odds are you wouldn't stay around there if you were wanting to get into any serious street action (drug dealing, etc.) because there isn't a whole lot going on in that area. Since I live on the southern most part of the westside I've spent alot of time on the south side and while riverdale is a ways away from in town you know (being that you are from/live here) nobody works where they live. average commute is 30 to 45 mintues and riverdale is no farther than that. on top of that you should also know that most places you want to go here you can expect to drive at 30 or 45 minutes unless you live in the city limits...

Now its obvious that Shawty is way more bankhead than T.I. is because that is were he was born raised and did his dirt... all im saying is that being from riverdale wouldn't really take away from his westside credit if he moved to the westside and thats were his shit happend... I know several people who go to other parts of town to be stupid in the streets... I don't condone I think its straight ridiculous ,especially since some of those kids are wealthier than I am, but I digress...

so with that said I say I give T.I. westside credit.... I can't give bankhead credit because I don't know that... but I do know that across the street from club crucial there is a couple of houses that look like the house that was in the video for "round here" T.I did with mephis bleek and trick daddy from way back... I believe that is the house that he claims to have come up in at some point in his life which is in the heart of bankhead... he just wasn't as big in that neighborhood as Shawty Lo was/is....

and if you'll notice all the videos Shawty shot with all those people saying they ain't never seen Tip anywhere were in Bowen Homes... thats Shawty's own born and raised section of bankhead (for perspective its about 10 minutes from the area where crucial is and its an entire housing project as opposed to just a street of low income homes) of course everybody around there has seen him ... I bet there aren't any of those videos that weren't shot in Bowen Homes... Im not saying Shawty couldn't do one else where I'm just saying since T.I isn't from Bowen Homes and anywhere in Bankhead you don't go places where people don't know you like that so he wouldn't have been in there like that...
