OK, so clearly the cheese [me] stood alone on my last post. What can I say, I have a strong opinion. Just to be clear my rant wasn't on the guys personally just on their career as of late. But anyway let's move on.

SOHH I hear that Def Jam's, as well as Atlanta resident, Vawn has just signed a deal with Peachtree TV and the Atlanta Braves. I've done a few posts on homie, but I've never really gotten any feedback from you all the readers. What y'all think of him?

From what I hear Vawn has been doing his thing in the A for a minute. I also hear that LA Reid signed the ATL representer directly after hearing the music. And while he's getting all these deals and garnering media attention, I wanted to know what the SOHH Atlanta readers think about ole boy.

Here's his new single with Scar called "Cuz I Hustle". I think it's dope!

And here is some more information on homie's new deal.

Peachtree TV has signed Def Jam’s Atlanta-based rapper Vawn to be showcased in two on-air promotional campaigns touting the Atlanta Braves’ new television home. The campaigns, which feature original songs based on the tagline “The Braves Play Here,” were filmed in Atlanta . In 2008, Peachtree TV will air 45 regular season Braves games.

Its crazy how people down in the south say that the east coast is irrelevant... everything in ATL is a carbon copy trust I live here now. All these cats here do is pretend to be o up on new shyt... but all the do is bite that up north swag. Then on top of it the radio in the A got yall brainwashed into thinkin that shyt they playin is hot, and that these artists is on top! Rocco, Shawty Lo, Gucci probly sold a total of 150k albums combined!!! But thats all you hear on the radio and in the club. Newsflash: DONT NOBODY LISTEN TO THAT SHYT BUT YALL... you take a trip into the real world dont nobody give a dam bout these corny azz catz! Bad move for them to put dude out there to rep the Braves like that. They would've done better with a Yung Joc, Big Boi, or something like that. The streets know a little about Vawn, but the city at large is nowhere near ready for dude! He should be thanking RG for setting up that sweet deal for him to get a check cut from Turner
