I have been hearing from all my female friends that this new song by Lil Wayne called "Lollipop" is the current "jam".

While I wasn't in any rush to listen to a song that's obviously geared towards the ladies I did finally listen to it last week and wasn't at all impressed.[Are you surprised?] Why cant the man just say "hair like mine, rather then her like mine?" But, I got a chance to listen to the remix version with Jeezy and I thought I'd give you all the chance to get your download on.

For me this song is totally whatever. I guess if you're a chick then this song speaks to you on many levels. However I did witness a dude blast this shit out of his car speakers this weekend in Buckhead, and I couldnt help but clown on him. I don't know maybe its just me, but am I the only who finds dudes grooving to this song just a tad bit suspect? I'm just saying....

The original "Lollipop" track was hot. Remix is hot. Stop hating. Wayne's been up and down lately, but "Lollipop" is a hot track. It's not Talib Kweli/Roots-style intellectual or anything, but listen to your female friends who say it's fire in the club and just take it FWIW.

For a nigga claming to be the best rapper alive the verses are beyond weak. You can't drop verses like these and still claim to be the best alive. It just don't fly. But with that said the song is cool. The hook is what makes the song as well as the beat. He was real smooth on this joint fa sho and it makes for a cool song to ride to. Not to mention when females hear this shit in the streets it snatches they attention. You pull up bumping it you get eyes on you.

But I have to say this also, if this is any indication of what to expect from the Carter 3 then I'm expecting the album to be a disappointment.

Considering he isn't rapping on the track or spitting verses, it shouldn't really effect his best rapper alive claim. The song does what it was meant to do. 50 claimed that the lil dude never had a number one hit and couldn't make one. Well, Wayne just served him a big plate of "shut the f#ck up", cause according to Billboard, 'Lollipop' is the #1 song in the country.

The beat is great, I just think lilWayne could of, no has more abilty to make better lyrics for the song. The Jeezy Remix sucks ass, jeezy tries to be too fucking hard, dude it's a chick song.
