Jermaine Dupri Proves Once and For All That He is The King Of Atlanta, Parties it Up With The King of Hip-Hop, Jay-Z! [Video]

Last night/earlier this morning I stopped by Jermaine Dupri’s official “Heart Of The City†after party, and after much bobbing and weaving I finally got the Jay-Z on camera. Yes, people I’m talking VIDEO! Oh, and did I mention that it’s also with Usher, Jermaine and Jeezy?
Let’s be honest, everybody in the ATL who was trying to get their party on was torn between JD’s and Alex Gideon’s competing events. Do you go with Diddy or Jay-Z? While I didn’t go to Dreamz [because you know, I don’t fux with the Gideons like that] the star power alone at JD’s party clearly, in my opinion, was the winner.
Not only did the ambassador of Atlanta [JD] bring the King of hip-hop [Jay] to his spot, but he also managed to get Beyonce, Usher, Ricky Ross, Lil Jon, Chingy, MTV’s Sway, Yung Berg and a host of others all up under the same roof.
I'm sure it's no surprise that Beyonce's handlers were not allowing any pictures to be taken of her, and while I normally ignore those kind of silly demands when they are out at a public event they made sure to keep B well hidden. I saw her come in with her assistant Angela, but she went straight to VIP and sat down in a way to where sneaking a picture was impossible. Add the fact that her extremely burly bodyguard was telling any and all eager photographers that if he saw one flash from a camera that the culprit was going to get tackled to the ground, I thought it best to just B E Z. I SOHH wanted to call his bluff, but I thought to myself "it just isn't worth it."

I don’t think you all know how big this is. Jay â€"Z is probably the only rapper in the game who refuses to do online media. Though we’ve made many attempts to try and get him for an interview here at SOHH.com he simply refuses to be a part of new media. I mean it’s not like it can help him. Jay and Beyonce are probably the only two in urban music who don’t have a need to fux with the bloggers of the world. At least not yet anyway!
I got to give a special shout out to Chew, Solo, Mia, Dorma, and a BIG shout out to Jermaine Dupri for looking out for me with the pictures. In all the hoopla you could have truly ignored a brutha and just kept it moving. But you didn’t, and I will always appreciate that.

Yeah, shit was bangin last night...to those that didn't get to see Beyonce, she was looking tight to death. Over there in V.I.P., you could tell she had an attraction for a certain White Nigga because she kept whispering to her assistant and flashing glances my way. Next thing you know, B had her lady friend step to me to get the business. I told her the name, the game, and the reason for the fame, and she went back to B and gave her the scoop. Next thing you know, she came back over and asked for one of my cards. I gave her the one that says "White Nigga" on the front, with the number 404-FUK-HRBZ. I autographed the back for her and she took it back to B, and B slid it in her bra for safekeeping. I had to slow my role, though, because I respect Jay-Z as a man, and I'm not about to gild B's lily with a shot of my super sperm, but I did order a bottle of Cristal for her and her friend. The club was kinda loud, but she made eye contact and mouthed the words "Thank you, nigga" to me. Then, they returned the favor by giving me a handkerchief that Beyonce used to blot her lips with. It was a nice gesture, but truthfully, I just dropped that shit in the trash on the way out. Later on last night, I was playing some Destiny's Child while I went in deep on a light-skinned shawty from East Cobb. All is well...
Good post, Gyant, you were definitely at the right spot. Puffy is a douche, and Gidewon is a little too dark, and I don't fuck with niggaz like that...

Oh well I never blog because I rarely have the time to but I have something I have to get off my chest and it involves the Heart of the City Tour ft. Mary J. Blige and Jay-Z. All I have to say is damn what a waste of soooooo many peoples time as you all may know of course I was backstage (all access.....u know how i do) and so I got to witness a shit load of stuff now first of all I am still confused why the Jigga man has to co- headline a tour if he is a big as people say (does Madonna co-headline or Avril.......no I think not but thats neither here nor there) secondly why would Mary J. Blige commit to that ish she is such a great artist and performer( she was great) on the other hand the Jigga Man himself was quite boring if i must say so who the hell wants him to speak unless its in reference to the alleged wedding between him and "QUEEN BEYONCE" , thirdly I noticed the large number of celebs that were backstage and in the audience (Diddy, Lil’ Kim, Jazze Phae, Rock’o, Richie Rich, Monica, Usher, The Aphiliates, Gorilla Zoe, Jeezy, JD and a host of others) what I am saying is that the concert may have been a little to NYCish.... so why not have someone to get the crowd extremely crunk before the headliners because the Dream sure as hell didn’t do it, fourthly I want to say that they were on some brand new shit with the credentials I mean Gorilla Zoe had to wait too damn long to get his and to add insult to injury they had the College Hill kids ATL sitting front row and they haven't accomplished things like sason 1 folks at VSU have and would not get Mr L O himself Shawty Lo adequate credentials.........thats right Shawty Lo himself got turned around at the back VIP Enterance door at the loading dock (I got video) now how in the hell does that work and fifth of all I just want to say to Jay and his camp that if you gon have Beyonce in town which I saw with my own eyes you should at least bring her on stage and Usher has a song with Jigga he should have gotten up there and performed it with him not running around playing servant to old lady glamazon Tameka who by the way has come a long ass way now she got his money......lol.......but I dont know who told Mr. Raymond he was the end all But he is sadly mistaken because I have now observed Mr. Raymond deny fans pictures 4 times and that shit just aint cool.... How the hell is jay 40 when he was born december of 1969, its 2008 that means he aint even 39 yet. Besides bottle in the hand is hip hop and jay z is still very much hip hop. Plus if you worth half a billy when you aint even turned 40 you can do what the hell you wanna do.
