Damn, Atlanta Is Becoming "Black Hollywood" For Real! T.I., Andre & Luda All Working On Movie Projects! Ashanti Brings The Heat To Da ATL? [Video]

I don't think there's ever been a time in the new Black Hollywood where three of Atlanta's top lyricists were all working on movie projects at or around the same time. But since it's here I thought I'd give you all the scoop.
T.I. is in final negotiations to possibly co-star in Screen Gems' upcoming heist drama "Bone Deep," according to the film's Atlanta-based producer.Will Packer, who soon will begin filming "Obsessed" in Los Angeles with Beyonce Knowles, says he is in the "final stages" of a deal to have T.I. join his "Bone Deep" cast. The film, which will star Matt Dillon and Idris Elba, involves a planned robbery that Packer has described as a kind of cross between "Heat" and "Ocean's Eleven."
"Bone Deep," tentatively set for 2009 release, could be filmed this fall. Atlanta is under consideration as a location, Packer says. Source

I hear Andre 3000 is only in the film for 20 seconds or so, but you see how the poster tries to lead us to believe that he's got a prominent part.
Ludacris is set to star alongside Mark Wahlberg in the upcoming film version of the hit video game Max Payne. Wahlberg is already confirmed as New York City DEA Agent Max Payne whose family was brutally murdered in a twisted government conspiracy while Ludacris will play the role of NYPD Chief Jim Bravura.
Am I the only one who's not familiar with Max Payne? I hear that Ludacris has already secured a home in the Toronto area.

Now if you're a reader of this blog regularly then you already know I wasn't going to be in the building because I don't fux with the Gideon's on any level. So the second I found out they were apart of the festivities I knew I already knew that it was a wrap.
And it's a good thing that I didn't because did y'all hear about the shoot out? I heard somebody got shot and was rushed to the hospital. Wouldn't it be appropriate if the TI movie was about a crackhead whos friend got killed so he started hoarding guns to get his revenge, only to get popped in the middle of a transaction, and then turn snitch to get out of trouble. Reality based. 'Based on a true story'
Imagine if the TI movie was 'Based On a True Story' about a crackhead who's lover/personal assistant gets killed to the crackhead starts hoarding guns in an attempt to get revenge on the guy who killed his homie/lover/friend. Only TI get's popped while trying to buy guns and has to turn snitch. A bit of reality.

Andre 3000 probably got that job from his manager and one of his many girlfriends around the globe 42 year old Eufula Garrett. I hope that it is a good role. His last roles have been terrible.
