Last week I got a chance to catch up with the uber busy new artists, Rocko Da Don, while he was in town filming two new music videos for "Tomorrow", and "This Morning". Y'all know I got that exclusive video for you below. Check it out below.

You knew it was bound to happen, or at least I did. Just days after T.I. shocked the world of hip-hop with his unheard of plea deal. People are now questioning the "unusual" guilty plea deal. Check it out below.

The Thunderkatz [not to be confused with the widely popular 80’s animated television show] are some of the new faces on Irv Gotti’s Murder Inc records
I got a chance to drop by a recording session at Atlanta’s legendary Patchwerk Recording Studios recently, and I chopped it up with the band about their sound, their take on how they’re going to impact the music game. And of course why in the hell they choose to name themselves after such an iconic TV show.
[Blogger Note: I ran this post early yesterday morning, but then the T.I. information broke so I took it down. Y'all know the King gets priority. LOL]

Y’all remember when Bow Wow got himself caught up in the “I’m A Flirt†scandal with R. Kelly? For those of you who forgot let's refresh real quick.
Bow Wow made a song with R. Kelly, it seems R.Kelly remade the song which had Bow Wow fighting mad. And to the end, it seems that Bow will be damned if it happens again. SOHH he’s taking to Youtube.com to make sure everybody knows that his new music is HIS OFFICIAL RECORD! Check it out below.

OK, I just got back from court y'all. And though the video I got is sh*t due to the heavy wind, but I managed to get something good out of it.

I've been telling you all for months that this man was doomed. There was no way that the "King of the South" could beat the legal system - at least all the way anyway. And now word has just broke that can back up my claim. Check it out below.

Y'all know we've all been waiting for some new music from Atlanta's most favorite hip-hop duo Outkast. Well it seems the guys have finally headed our requests. But was it worth the bullet?
According to hitsdailydouble.com Rocko's debut album didn't exactly connect with fans in retail stores. Check out the CD sales below.

I don't mean to throw grease [yea, right] but what the hell is going on with Dem Franchize Boyz? I mean it’s clear that their new single “Talkin’ Out Da Side Of Your Neck†is a sheer flop. But weren’t they signed to So So Def Records? What the hell happened?

Since I am slowly descending from my holiday weekend I figured that in the spirit of Easter Sunday I would forgo the usual blog rhetoric for today and bring you all some gifts. And thanks to DJ Stephan I'm bringing you all Stefan The DJ Presents: Street Bangerz Vol.4.
The mixtape has your favorite rappers from the south. T.I., Pastor Troy, B.G., Dolla, Rich Boy, Flo Rida & more. Check it out below.

You know Chris Rock made a joke on one of his HBO specials about how young kids scare the sh*t out of him now a days. I for one don't fear many things in life, but young people do tend to have me on alert more so than adults. Well it seems that Soulja Boy will now be just as on guard as the rest of us after a young hater took his hate to the ultimate extreme.

I've been getting a lot of emails, and of course the haterz are mentioning it in the comments section. SOHH, I figured that I would post the video of my appearance on Erik Parker's "The Parker Report". Check out Gyant in all my glory.

Well not exactly free, but it made you interested didn't it? According to the SOHH News Department Clifford done went and got some good news thrown his way. Check out all the information below.

My girl Kimberly Jo sent me over this new contest that a lot of you up and comers need to hop on if you trying to get an easy way into the game.

Chingy, along with Botchey & Zae Ent, celebrated the Midwest M.C.'s 28th birthday at Lukies last night. The usual ATL crowd came out [Ne-yo, Toomp, Small World, Willy Northpole, etc]. As many of you know when it comes to Chingy I tend to be a little bit harsh SOHH I made sure to come out but I decided it best to just leave my camera at home and just come out to have a good time. SOHH since I didn't get still shots for y'all to look over. I thought today would be Chingy's video day on the blog. Check it out below.
I got to tell you that I have never watched an episode of “The Boondocksâ€. Unfortunately this job doesn’t leave much time to just lay back and watch the boob tube. But I had been hearing SOHH much about this new episode that was banned in North America over some BET jabs that the network deemed so offensive that the Cartoon Network decided to against airing it. However, thankfully we live in a time where the powers that be only have control of their networks, and not the internet.
Shawty Lo's got another video out. But, I am very confused by the concept. Am I alone?

Lets be honest. It seems that the whole world is turning to p*ssy lately. From Presidents, to local officials, p*ssy is getting a lot of dudes in sticky situations. So my man Lil Jon has created a patch to help the men out there keep their sh*t together. Check out the video below.

You knew it was bound to happen. Monica's man's album has leaked all over the internet. As many of you know I have learned my lesson about posting leaks since that unfortunate T.I. debacle. So while I won't post all the tracks, I think a few will be OK, yes?

I'm sure by now you heard that the city of the ATL got it's ass kicked by a tornado this past weekend. It's ironic for me because I came here from West Palm Beach, Florida by way of NYC. And it's the hurricanes that moved me from South FL. I thought that ATL was safe from any natural disasters. But I guess that I and many others were wrong. But what's done is done. I hope everybody is OK. And now let's focus on this rumored Hot Boyz reunion.
[Blogger Note: It's been one long crazy ass weekend. Between the Tornado that hit, and the parties that just wouldn't stop your boy is BEAT. I will be updating the blog a little later today. I got to get some sleep. But I typed this up last week, and didn't get around to posting it. Check it out. Plus check out Vawn below too.]
If you’re some how baffled by the title of this post allow me to clarify what a splaboo is exactly. According to court documents the King of Pop [or should I say former], Michael Jackson, refers to all black people as a splaboo. When this news first came out years ago, of course people were outraged. But, over time friend in my head, Wendy Williams, has coined it as a black person who does something incredibly ignorant that is flashy, and extremely ghetto.
Y'all always email me about whats going on the city. Well here you go. Don't say I didn't put you on to something hot.
Trey Songz stopped by Ryan Cameron's popular daytime radio program yesterday to promote his current tour with J. Holiday, and The Dream. But when the conversation turned to Bow Wow, you know I was all ears. Check it out below.

Lil Jon has a new video out that that I wanted to share with you all. Check it out below.

I got one of the funniest emails yesterday from my media brethren Randy Roper. Anyone who is from, or who lives here knows that everything this posts says about this great city is SOHH true. Check it out.
For all those who are gearing up for spring, and are waving goodbye to winter one of SOHH Atlanta's most favorite DJ's, DJ Mars, is about to throw a truly supreme Birthday bash this Saturday [March 15th]. And guess what? He wants ALL of you to be there. Check out his visual invitation below.

Whatever happened to the stop snitchin movement? Isn't it like some strict code of the streetz? Well someone clearly talked to the cops, but thank god they did because T.I. now has some good news. And in the midst of all that's going on with him it's about time.

Published reports are swirling that Atlanta producer Polow Da Don was robbed last night at gun point. Check out all the information below.

It seems T.I. has been listening to the fans plea for new music, and he's answered their prayers. Thanks to Hannah King for sending this track of Lupe's remix to "Superstar" featuring Young Jeezy, and T.I. Check it out below.

I’m not sure if you have noticed lately but DTP leader Ludacris has been quietly doing the damn thing. I'm starting to look at him as the silent killer because he's murdered damn near every track he's been on. [That's not a slam in case anyone is taking it that way.] On a mainstream level people tend to put T.I. against Luda. Tip calls himself the “King of the South†however Luda did nab the Grammy for “Album of the Yearâ€. But while that argument continues to play out I just thought I’d put you all on to all the Luda tracks that are currently out right now. Check them all out below.
Late last week I got a opportunity to check out one of the most illest, and most involved hip-hop philanthropist I know; Killer Mike’s listening session for his upcoming project. Check out the exclusive video I got for you below.

It seems that one of the South's favorite rappers Lil Wayne has forgone his efforts to get sober [y’all know he’s on something, don’t front] to focus his attention on promoting safe sex. Check out the article below.

I just got an email from my boy about Rocko's album release party. And I find it necessary to break down exactly why I will pretty much always have a job. I warn you now it's a lot of reading.

Well I'll be dammed. Look who came out of nowhere to claim the top spot this week on Billboard?

It appears that T.I. is still trying to make some moves, no matter how little, while he awaits his fate on the pending illegal gun charges. He apparently is about to produce his own reality show.

You know at first when Jermaine Dupri used to cut videos of himself doing the everyday stuff they were kind of interesting, and intriguing to take in. But it seems like now there's a new video every week. And whether it's a good, or bad thing has yet to be decided. But here's another one of JD showing us all why there is one and only Jermaine Dupri.

Atlanta's staple DJ -- DJ Trauma-- is brining his stylistic party skills to cyberland with a new website. The World Famous Superfriend member threw a private bash here in Atlanta last night, and thanks to Trauma's hard working, and determined publicist Angela Watts SOHH.com came out to capture the the scene. Check out the pictures below.

Late last week I touched on a rumor that was feverishly spreading around the internet. I had heard that there was a shake up that was imminent at Ludacris' Disturbing The Peace Records imprint. First I had heard that the R&B acts got cut. Then I had heard that DTP was going to sever ties with Def Jam and take their artists over to Columbia. Then I heard that nothing was going to be finalized until this week. Well, I just got a press release from Jana Fleishman the PR chick for Def Jam and apparently things are OK…well kind of.

It seems that Aphiliates member DJ Don Cannon has been keeping a relatively low profile ever since the highly publicized arrest occurred last year. But just because he's been out of sight it appears that he most certainly hasn't been out of mind. My media chick Tai St. Louis caught up with the towering DJ to see what's going on with his new album. But tell me this, is anyone checking for Don Cannon like that?

The argument has been made on more than one occasion, but Erik Parker, along with a bunch of his celebrity friends like Diamond, Princess, David Banner and Killer Mike have decided to bring the issue to the forefront. Do we have too many “Lil’s, and Youngs†in the rap game? Check out their take on the issue below.
