Ciara Wanted You To Dance and Dance Y'all Did [Video] Part 1!

I stopped by Ciara's open casting call for new dancers at Gotta Dance Studio's in Atlanta. The turnout was thick as hell as many of ATL's best unsigned "raw" dancers came out in hopes of being chosen by one of today's most pioneering entertainers to back her up on stage.

Y'all know how I do. I got crazy video of the kids doing things that I still can't wrap my brain around. Check it out below.

As you can all see from the video these kids have some real talent. The closet thing I've ever gotten to dancing was watching '"You Got Served". Freestyle dancers and beyond came out to show their skills. But the one thing that seem to the echo the dance floor was that small, but important word, "class". Unfortunately as good as a lot of dancers were their failure to be properly trained instantly ruled them out for a chance to get with Cici in any dance capacity. From the choreographer, Quincy Lamar's perspective dance classes are extremely important in the dance industry. I think its important that everybody understand that no matter what your dream is you got to take the time to do it right or you just might get overlooked. But on a another note Ciara wanted to make it clear that every dancer should be motivated and congratulated for coming out to follow their dreams.

Oh, and the people out there who think that white people can't dance I'm here to tell you that I saw some white girls who would put plenty of us black people to shame.

Shoutout to Quincy Lamar, Sora, Philana, Rocky, Maya, Cici(Kelly), and the incomparable Ciara for the access, and fantastic time. Oh, and please believe that there is more video to come. I know I got to show the fella's and some girls Ciara. Don't worry, I got you I just got to space it out a little bit. [Blog Edit Part Two Is Up Go Here To Check It Out/]

Talk to y'all lata,

You got that many people at an audition...you got to know how to get dancers in and out without chaos. Trust...Ciara has not seen the last of me...I'm gonna be big! Love ya Ciara!

Gyant - You have a lot of promise as a journalist and not just as a blogger. As an educated person, your mispellings and grammar mistakes jump out at me as red flags when I read your blog. If you want to be taken seriously at the next level, you have to write as though you belong there. I like SOHH.com, but the lack of professionalism in writing that I see really prevents me from taking any of you seriously as writers.

  • @JUSTLOOKINGOUT

I hear that. But I really try to stress to people that I am not a writer/journalist. I am just a blogger/a man with an opinion. I always turn down writing jobs because I really dont want to be bothered with all that nonsense. I think its a great profession, and those who choose to do it I commend them. I have plenty of friends who are journalists and I stress that I am not one. I just know how to write.
