Right on Gyant...but I disagree with you about the Atlanta Hip-Hop scene is dying part...but anyways I can't wait till Dre 3000 drop that album.

We've got a little taste of 3000 and Big with that new Drama record. Kast traditionally came out every few years and usually it comes with delays. I dont know where Dre's head is at and he alone cant change where we are at right now. But know this, when they drop a record everyone in the atlanta will take a step back and recognize the real kings of this shit.

Hell yeah I agree with you 100% Gyant. Yes we NEED Dre because the media are so quick to crown the greatest of all time (as of right now) There is no art to it at all. Producers are maintaining the art form by carry'n thses ringtone rappers. Notice I did not call any names so If you start bashing me then perhaps your favorite MC is a ringtone rapper. 3000, your lyrics are excellent, your delivery is spectacular, and you have been an inspiration for many people, white, black, brown, and in between. You know what I mean, you rapped it in "What a Job". The production on your songs would be the highlight if another artist was featured on them rapping or singing, but you are legendary, and I know my friends sit by the computer waiting to hear new verses from you. You probably have some songs shelved, 2008 is the time to release them and see what the people say. But please, do it innovative, not like Idlewild.

I too hope Dre reads the letter and sees how badly the fans want his music. I'm gonna disagree with the poster that said we don't need the singing Dre. He has been singing for a long time in his music. I say he can release a solo double CD. Half Rap and half Funk/Soul/Rock/Pop. Both sets of fans are missing him right now.

I've been on sohh.com since March or April, and I have got 2 say this is 1 the realest blog Gyant has done. Alot of times he has been bashing southern hip hop and other times praising it, but giving props 2 one the most talent artist on the planet is genius. I agree 200% on what is being said about 3000. I am in the Military and all we do is debate on hip hop as a whole and sometimes the debates become heated when they say they ain't feel Dre, or he can't spit, or better yet he ain't better than Wayne. I am not tryin 2 sound like a groupie or a homo, but makes some of the most beautiful music rather its spitin hot 16's or singing, he is the true definition of not just a rapper, but an artist or an entertainer. Big ups 2 Gyant on this blog, i guess u can say real recognize real.
