Top 5 Most Shocking Moments in The South of 2007!

What an amazing, and might I add shocking year it has been for the south this year. We’ve watched the “King†descend from hip-hop royalty. We’ve seen a preacher get himself caught up in a Transvestite scandal. Bow Wow has proven many times this year that his bite is not half as bad as his bark. And everyone is still dealing with the unfortunate passing of one half of UGK, Pimp C. But year-end is rapidly approaching and its time to onward to a prosperous year. But not before we take a look back at this year’s most shocking moments in Atlanta.
This is my year in review for one of the best years, or worse, [depends on how you choose to look at it] for 2007.
5. Many people knew that something was quite right about Mason Betha. He’d been getting the gay rumors for years but when he got his car impounded in the early spring the rumor mill spiraled out of control. V103 radio personality, Ryan Cameron broke the word on his highly rated radio show that Mase had been caught in a hit and run on the very well known tranny stoll here in Atlanta. While the rapper/preacher stayed mum on the allegations the victim phoned in to V103 and spilled all the details. But it was lil ole me who went down to the courthouse to get a copy of the citation â€" putting the alleged homosexual at the scene of the crime. Check out the ticket here
4. Anyone who reads SOHH Atlanta knows all too well that Bow Wow and I have a hate/hate relationship. I often times voice my opinions about certain Atlanta celebrities when I feel they’ve gotten out of line or are just plain lame. I’d get private cuss outs all the time from stars but never anything public….that is until Bow Wow decided to voice his frustrations towards on camera. This was easily a shocking moment for me.

2. I’ve met Melyssa Ford on numerous occasions, and while she is sexy as all get out and loves the camera. It would seem that one red carpet event this past year garnered her a little more attention then she initially anticipated. Neyo had his grand studio opening earlier this year and Melyssa was in attendance. But when she got to dissing my homegirl Wendy Williams in a roundabout way I had to let the “Queen Of All Media†know. And we all know what happened next. Listen To The Audio
1. I think the most shocking moment of 2007 had to of been, hands down, T.I.’s sudden arrest just moments before this years annual BET Hip-Hop Awards. I’ve only told a few people this story. But I missed Clifford getting busted on the corner of Piedmont and North Ave by minutes. I live only blocks away from the Publix shopping center where T.I. was busted. I was out and about when the situation happened. I walked right past it but I was so busy doing my own thing that I didn’t even take notice. I mean who notices a group of cop cars anymore right? Had I’ve gotten there when they suddenly pulled up and made the sudden seen I would’ve been much more aware. Well, you can imagine how sick I felt when I heard a few hours later what had transpired. Imagine my infamy if I had Clifford Harris’ arrest on tape? When I think of the money I could have made it makes me ill. But I’d like to think that I somehow made up for it at his pre-trial hearing in downtown Atlanta.
With the New Year quickly approaching I want to take the time to thank ALL of SOHH.com’s loyal readers. Though most of you hate. If it weren’t for you all logging in regularly, SOHH.com wouldn’t be one of the leading hip-hop websites online today.

I'm not gonna end on a negative note. Instead, here's some advice. REPORT what you observe, not what you think people are thinking or feeling.
