Young Jeezy's Birthday Bash...The "Exclusive" Party That Wasn't all That Exclusive at All!

Written by Gyant

Posted on October 1, 2007 3:08 AM

Young Jeezy celebrated his Birthday party part deux last night in the ATL. And against my better judgment, I decided to attend. Sometimes I think your instinct should the only voice you listen to. Check out the good and bad below.

One of the things about the Atlanta scene that I really don’t like is the fact that you always run into the same people at every event. It’s like there are a pact of hungry groupies just salivating at the chance to crash the next “big” affair. You’d be surprised, but some “celebrities” also pull the same stunts.

This event had a strong buzz all week long. But what enticed me, and I’m sure a lot of others in the business, was that â€"tiny â€" yet â€" often misused â€" word “exclusive.” Well let me tell you now, there was NOTHING exclusive about this event. Special VIPs received special black credit card-esque invitations. Sounds hot right? Well please don’t be impressed, because what I observed as I was checking in was a guest list that was missing a lot of local celebrity names, thousands of groupies clambering for their chance to sip on some free Courvoisier and a red carpet that was so disorganized, the celebrities had to find the media, instead of the other way around.

It was billed as the Hangar Party. CTE rented out a huge airplane hangar and tricked it out with all the negrodian expeditures. You had your flashy cars, high end motorcycles, blah blah blah. But what you didn’t have was the expected superstars. Top tier entertainers like Ciara, Jay-Z, Beyonce, Lil Wayne & LA Reid were among those who were supposedly confirmed to attend. Yet mysteriously none of them arrived. It leaves one to think that A) either Jeezy can’t muster up the celebrity strength to pull off a truly poppin' affair. Or B) Nobody cared enough to come out and support one of Atlanta’s most popular rappers. Jeezy made a less then stellar entrance by private chopper. It actually would have been hot if he had some type of red carpet, or bright lights to illuminate his arrival. But he didn't so it just came off a lil corny.

Either way it only left me with one thought as I was headed home. Jeezy got snubbed at for this year’s BET Hip-Hop Awards. And now it looks like he gets snubbed when it comes to throwing birthday bashes. And don't even get me started on the portable toilets....

Shout out to Nina Brown who looked absolutely ravishing last night. And also shout to Sarah C. Whenever you’re willing to talk, reach out sohhgyant@gmail.com

Talk to y’all lata,

Dawg, why are you such a hater? Every article you write , you hate. You must have a miserable soul or a small dick and just hate every nigga cuz because of your shortcomings

Lol^^^ hella nawll...but iont thank its that nobody cared 4 jeezy's party,..people were prolly busy and had other important things 2 do,and couldn't show up..???

newsflash! jeezy was a gimmick. ppl see thru it

Who the fuck wants to see Jay-Z anyways??. And how are you going to complain about a bunch of groupies showing up and then say you didn't like it because certain celebrities didn't show up? That makes YOU a groupie! haha. It looked like a cool event from the video you put up but leave it up to dimwide to turn something good into something bad. Why didn't you interview young joc? when are you going to hate on bow wow again?how u gon' bust a nut with a busted nut?

I don't know about you homey but I was in town on the humbug and stopped by the party. Me and my folks had a ball. Packed house, beautiful women from Florida, Tennesee, Atlanta and etc. Good Cush in the air..... Swell EVENT !!!! Can't be a hater all ya life !!!

and my gun go BLAM!!!

I know the problem last night, the nucca had like 4 birthday parties last week. How many parties does he need? His birthday is only one day.

I don't think anyone showed up to this party because at the VMAs, Jeezy was voted "The Person Most Likely To Attend The Party Where You Got Shot."

I was the runner-up in that category, so color me a little sour for being bumped off the number one spot. I had that title for 3 years running and I earned that shit Gotdammit. Anyway, to all my white niggaz on the grind: Keep ya headz up!

Man when are people gonna stop letting you in their events because wherever you go you hate on the events? What was the last party in the A you actually thought was hot? You gotta have some issues because people think enough of the A to take trips there to party so how can a nigga from there think everything is lame?

Atlanta is Atlanta. Get your paper up and run the broads and keep a few that are worth keeping. Otherwise, leave the city and go back to wherever the hell your from.

@Illegal1

I did interview Yung Joc...Oh trust me, thats coming up later on today. Unlike alot of bloggers who hide behind their computer screens. I have no problem reaching out and telling people who I am and what I said. And what! Check out what he had to say later..

It sounds like he had a nice party for f-list celebs, regular folks and Jermaine Dupri who kinda played himself by showing up. That seems more Jeezy's speed. I don't see him and Ciara, Beyonce or even Jay running with the same crowd. You mentioned the groupies, but how many drug dealers were up in that peace?

The reason why nobody attended Chessy's wack party was because everyone in Faglanta was at the White NIgga Party on 3rd and Spring Streets. Anyone that has ever been to GayTL knows that half of the city is gay. So if your going to throw a party the same day a fagget like me throws a gay party your going to lose. Shout out to Ma$e and my favorite butt buddy Illegal1. *

More Details Arise in W.Va. Torture Case

By TOM BREEN and SHAYA TAYEFE MOHAJER – Sep 19, 2007

LOGAN, W.Va. (AP) — The list of horrors allegedly endured by a woman at the hands of six people in a remote trailer grew during the suspects' court hearings — leaving the woman's mother sobbing.

Reading Tuesday from a statement 20-year-old Megan Williams gave deputies the day she was rescued from the ramshackle home, a sheriff's deputy said she had been stabbed with what she described as a butcher knife and beaten with wooden sticks and fly swatters.

She said she was sexually assaulted, doused with hot water, forced to eat animal feces, and taunted with racial slurs. Among the new allegations, she said hot wax was poured on her, and that two of her captors forced her to drink a cup of their urine.

Carmen Williams, the victim's mother, left the preliminary hearing of one of the defendants in tears Tuesday after listening to what her daughter allegedly experienced.

Charges against most of the six suspects were upgraded Tuesday. All six, who are white, now face charges of kidnapping, which carries a maximum life sentence. Four of the defendants had faced lesser charges before Tuesday's filings.

Megan Williams' statement said the defendants told her they didn't like black people and that they were going to hang her, though no hate crime charges were filed.

"They told me if I tried to get out they was going to hit me and stuff. I was scared of them," Logan County Sheriff's Deputy Jeffrey Robinette read from Williams' statement.

Some of Williams' supporters have urged the state to file hate crime counts. Prosecutors have not ruled out such a move but have said they are focused on crimes with the toughest penalties and note that the maximum sentence for a hate crime is just 10 years.

The Associated Press generally does not identify suspected victims of sexual assault, but Williams and her mother agreed to release her name. Carmen Williams said she wanted people to know what her daughter had endured.

Megan Williams' ordeal ended when an anonymous tip led police to the home Sept. 8. Deputies are still trying to determine how long Williams was held.

Kidnapping and sexual assault charges, along with additional counts of battery, were filed against Karen Burton, 46; her daughter, Alisha Burton, 23; and George A. Messer, 27, all of Chapmanville. They also face additional counts of battery.

Danny J. Combs, 20, of Harts, now faces a kidnapping charge that carries life in prison. He originally was charged with sexual assault and malicious wounding. Prosecutors added two more sexual assault charges, which each carry a maximum of 35 years in prison.

Three counts of misdemeanor battery were added to the charges against Frankie Brewster, who owns the home where the suspected assault took place. She also is charged with kidnapping, first-degree sexual assault and giving false information to police. An unlawful malicious wounding charge was dropped.

In a statement to deputies, Brewster detailed her role and implicated others, saying "I just want to come clean." Brewster also is accused of forcing Williams to perform oral sex on her.

A sixth defendant, Bobby Brewster, 24, who is the son of Frankie Brewster, is charged with kidnapping, sexual assault, malicious wounding and assault during the commission of a felony. Police have said he had a previous relationship with Williams.

Williams said in her statement Tuesday that she was raped at knifepoint by Combs in the trailer's bathroom, tied with a cable cord and choked by Karen Burton, doused with hot wax by Messer, and stabbed by Bobby Brewster.

Sheriff's Deputy Rick Goodman testified Tuesday that Brewster told deputies that the six defendants were afraid to let Williams go because she might tell on them. They also talked about killing her.

Karen Burton, who was arraigned by video teleconference from jail, said, "Oh, hell no," when informed of the sexual assault charge against her. The other defendants said only "yes, sir" and "no, sir" during their arraignments.

In another courtroom Tuesday, Megan Williams answered outstanding warrants from three counties charging her with crimes involving worthless checks. She was released on $8,000 bond.

Williams, who clutched a small teddy bear in court, was wearing a brace on her right hand and a bandage on her left ankle. She was accompanied by her parents, and her mother held her through portions of the proceeding. Williams' mother also accompanied her during a brief period in a holding cell.

Hearings on the charges will be held in each county. Williams' father, Matthew, told Magistrate Ward Harshbarger, "She'll be there."

Am I the only one that thinks that nigga in the tight ass blue vest looks good?

Jeezy looked like he shaved his dome with a piece of glass. He shoulda found a hat

Gyant,
I don't know where you r from but most of your post about Atlanta is on some negative type shyt. If you are tired of going out to different events don't go. After a while if you club to much it gets boring anyway. I doubt that you tell everybody you interview what you posted about them the previous week. One day mark my words somebody is going to swang on yo ass. Don't act like you hard and shyt on this blog talking about "AND WHAT"

Yea, we need to make a blog and vote to see who will be the first Atlanta artisit to swing on you and lift your skirt, because your day is coming, Karma is a bitch my friend.

There's alot of gay people in Atlanta? I didn't know that. I can't stand young jeezy!! He should NEVER EVER be seen without a hat on. His head looks like the tip of a penis!!!!!!

Gyant do ya thing man. Jus cuz you don't like somethng don't mean you hatin'. My man said it was crazy in there w/ plenty groupie love. I was @ Sneaker Pimps ATL last saturday and saw JOC w/ that chain homie I got pics 2 prove it

Lynn Dinwoodie aka Gyant is not from the A, he's from New Jersery and not Newark..dude from the burbs. Someone from Block Ent. need to get at dude for the way he hatin on Young Joc, if Joc got robbed why is that funny? Why does Gyant wish that Joc is the "laughing stock" of Atl, what did Joc do to you.

Gyant thinks he's better than us and he stay with smart to say.

From hating JD's club, to leaking TI's album, to getting sassy with T-Boz like the faggot he is, to hating on Bow Wow, to being glad about Joc's album flopping and getting robbed, dude stay hating.

He think cause he tall he can say whatever and it's cool.

LOL, piece of glass. I saw that shit too. Jeezy head got more lumps in it than Trick Daddy when he got his ass beat to the white meat.

But Gyant, why you be goin to these functions if you just gonna hate?? Sounds like YOOOOOO(soulja boy) didnt pull no hoes, didnt participate in any sessions, just stood around staring at people and takin pictures. Jeezy dont be kickin it with hollywood types, you sound like a groupie expecting to see Jay-z. So, instead of takin one of them thick Atl chicks under, you stood on the wall waiting for Jay-z and LA Reid to come?????? damn.

@ GYANT!

Wow you been on this blog all this time and you getting Hyper about showing 1 party you thought was aight. You are Delusional if you think you are just some celebrity who is invited to parties because of your swagger or personality. You're invited to parties because you have a blog and people want to be shown in a good light so fall back and let real N*ggas ball and you write your blogs about somebody stuff that's bigger than you which you were invited to. Better yet how about you throw a party and see who shows up to represent for you. If Jay-z or any of the people you mentioned came to support your born day then you can talk reckless about anybody you want (On a blog) . Because you know yo blog rightin a$$ would be nothing for any half way real dude. You beefin wit Lil Bow Wow of all people. I don't even post comments but felt the need to because of you idiotic comments

Am from the uk and gyant can go eat a dick you faggot

GUCCI MANE WASNT INVITED?

What's wrong Gyant, not enough single men there for you? Don't worry, you can see "Chocolate Thunder" and "Black Snake Moan" at Nickemoto's!

Smooches!

I am surprised there was no mention of the urine stained red carpet..disgusting!! Jeezy's needs a new camp.

I just got one question. What kind of bitch ass nigaa hates on anothers mans birthday party? That's some sucker ass shit.

EITHER WAY IT GOS IT WAS A HOT PARTY. WHY HATE ON ANOTHER MANS EVENT. JUST BE HAPPY THAT BLACK PEOPLE ARE OUT HERE DOING SOMETHING GOOD IN THE HOOD. IT WAS A VERY GOOD LOOK FOR JEEZY AND EIGHT732. WHO CARES ABOUT CELEBRITIES. NIGGA WE IN ATLANTA WE ARE THE CELEBRITIES. WE MAKE THE PARTY. AT THE END OF THE DAY IT WAS A VERY GOOD LOOK. YOU CANT HATE ALL YOUR LIFE. ~KIND OF A BIG DEAL ; )

Cuz u stay hatin. on everything you write you be hating. You are motherfucking hater folk

Thanks E.clipz for the update on the West Va women I though people had forgotten about it.

1.) Jeezy was/is nothing without the backing of BMF. "They" made him. "They" gave him street credibility. "They" gave him money to throw around and pretend that he was doing big "dope boi shyt". "They" created a swagger and buzz around him that made people like Jay-Z want to sign him because he was hot at that particular moment.
Now "they", who he didn't claim when he got in the lime light, are mostly locked up or under indictment, his buzz is gone.
Jeezy hung out with "them" in the clubs, even got jealous when he got no attention while hanging out with "them" (because he's a lame), went behind "their" backs and signed with def jam, disowned "them" in the media, wouldn't let "them" in some of his parties and now I believe he is getting what he deserved. Its a dog eat dog world baby. Jeezy should understand why no one came to his party. People who are exclusive don't want to deal with Jeezy. After all "who is Jeezy"? Kinda like his karma for dissing his friends once upon a time ago and not "knowing" who "they" were "in public" bc he felt "they" could hurt his career by association. Well Bingo Jeezy, lmao that's what's happening to you my dear!!!

And I'm OUT!

You are RIGHT on point with your commentary girl. I was there too and VERY disappointed. I'll check u at da next event.

Smooches.

The party was just alright. There was a lot of people pretending who they ain't. I did like the free drinks and the crab cakes. I had more fun at the Velvet Room afterwards.

So is karma delite implying that the party would have been better with BMF in the bldg or that more celebs didn't show up because he gave BMF the cold shoulder...get the fuc outta here. Jay, Beyonce dont care about BMF, jay is probably the one who told him to distance him self from a business standpt...maybe thats why FAB didnt come.

Good Afternoon
My name is Charles, and I am someone that you should know. Now
I know you are probably asking yourself... who is this... and why do
they feel that I should know them. I will answer your questions with
this one statement... Successful people refuse to be defeated;
therefore I am who I believe myself to be... and I... I believe
myself to be someone you should get to know!
I am a young up and coming Music Mogul... I know that you have
probably heard that many times before... BUT I have proof... a major
television station just wrapped up a documentary about my life... I
was crowned the "REAL ULTIMATE HUSTLER" by Defjam Co-founder Russell
Simmons, and I have job offers on the table (Key word "OFFERS") from
4 of the most influential Executives in the business, and on top of
all that, I know that my responsibility is to open up the doors for
others that were closed for me when I got to them.
The reason why I am sending you this email is because I am in the
Jay-Z Rocawear I will not lose contest, and I need for you to go and
see my video and vote for me. I know that if you would just give me 5
min of your time (well really 4 and 1/2 min that's how long the video
is) you would find it worth your while and time because our stories
maybe somewhat the same.
All you have to do is go to:
1) www.iwillnotlose.org
2) Click on newest video
3) Look for the video titled THE ROAD LESS TRAVELED ADVOCATE4THEDREAMER
4) Watch it
5) And then vote for me. (by clicking on the last and 5th star it may
look as if nothing is happening but it is... Unless it tells you to
now do something different)
Hopefully I have not taken up too much of your time today... I am
just a young person with a dream that is bigger then the world around
me, and I have made a choice that I will stop at nothing to make it
happen... and remember I told you: I am someone that you should know!
Thanks and have great day!!!!
Musically Yours,
Charles
