FOR THE RECORD, I JUST GOT THIS PRESS RELEASE EMAILED TO ME LATE YESTERDAY EVENING. IT IS WHAT ITS!!

I can’t lie; I have no idea who the hell Gorilla Zoe is musically. I mean of course I have seen him out and about in the city. But I couldn’t recite one bar he ever spit. But, just because I don’t know who he is, doesn’t mean that you guys don’t, right? Well he’s got a block party poppin off today. Is anyone going?

Two weeks ago, I told you all about Ludacris hot and poppin birthday bash in Vegas. There was cake, eye candy, and bright lights everywhere. And now there is also some exclusive video from the celebration that only SOHH Gyant can deliver. Check it out below.

For the record, I attempted to reach out to people within Yung Joc’s camp before running this story. I had heard about Jasiel’s medallion getting snatched pretty much within hours of the incident occurring. But, I really wanted to give Joc the chance to give me an official word because I had been so hard on him these past couple of weeks about his album tanking and all. I was told someone would get back to me, but of course I never heard anything back.

Last night I attended the “Untouchables” party that was hosted by T.I., Jeezy, & Lil Wayne. As many of you know, I usually do a “good, the bad and the…” but I can’t front, I had a great time. I couldn’t tell you what the theme was exactly, because a lot of people kind of did their own thing fashion wise, but the invitation read “Come Suited and Booted.”

It looks like Chili and her baby daddy are behind the "Crank Dat" movement thats sweeping the nation.

For all the kids who see the rappers blow huge amounts of money on the most irrelevant items, it's good to see that not all of them are focused on JUST that. Check out the self-proclaimed King of The South's advice on money and taxes.

Playaz Circle seems to be doing their thing in the A. Their new single "Duffle Bag Boy" is still getting a lot of airplay in and around the city. And now they have a mixtape and new video out which you know I got for you right?

What’s this I’m hearing about Lyfe Jennings and Yung Joc? I see the two out around the A all the time, and wasn’t aware of some supposed beef. But it’s real from I’m hearing and I got Lyfe’s side of the story.

I caught up with one of the most charismatic, and coolest kats in the game. Whenever I see Polow out at a party he genuinely seems to love this business â€" all of it. Check out the video below.

BIG SHOUT OUT to Colli Park!! He was named Songwriter Of The Year at BMI Urban Awards. He's been in the game for so many years that I can't let one artist (Soulja Boy) overshadow the man's legacy.

This Soulja Boy phenomenon is getting so outta control that I might just grab my white shades, scribble Soulja Boy on them and join the crowd (I’m kidding of course). True hip-hop heads have had to endure lil' homie’s “Crank Dat Soulja Boy” tune at every club, concert, and house party since it came on the scene. To me there’s nothing sadder then to see grown ass men jumping around the club scream “Yoouuuuuuuuu”.

But if that wasn’t hard enough on your ears, I’m sure you’ll be glad to know that Soulja Boy has linked up with fleeting R&B singer Mario for a remixed slow version called “Soulja Girl”.

I’m sure you already know what Gyant is thinking, but just scroll on down to hear it for yourself.

I meant to mention this last week, but I forgot. Daron Jones (member of R&B group 112, singer/songwriter/producer/...and everything else that has to do with music) recently jumped the broom with his longtime girlfriend. Y’all remember him right, I think he was the one who got plastic surgery on his nose or some sh*t.

I always run into people on the streets of Atlanta who claim that Gyant doesnt post enough events. Well, I got this email from Publicist extraordinaire Tahira Wright about one of ATL’s most up and coming DJ.’s - DJ Blak.

Yung Joc and Block Entertainment invaded V103’s Frank Ski & Wanda’s Morning Show last week to promote his new fleeting album, Hustlenomics. They talked about the album, his fly â€" and â€" heavy ass medallion he rocks around his neck, which I am convinced will be going back to the store since his album only sold 69,000 copies.

Last week I commented on TLC’s T-Bozs’ less then enthusiastic attitude at Jermaine Dupri’s Studio 72 club opening. A lot of the readers demanded my head for being “disrespectful” to a member of the best selling (at least as far as R&B is concerned) girl-group of all time, but I was only speaking the truth.

Well, it seems that word has broke that while everyone is waiting to see what Chilli and Akon are going to do, T-Boz will have a new CD out in the near future. Boz broke the news exclusive to her number one TLC fan site (cybertlcworld.net). Check below to get all the details.

There is so much talent out there that it’s crazy. But there are a lot of emails with some crazy ass tracks that I would love to put on, but because the artists, the producer, or mgmt aren’t following directions they are being deleted. It is very important in life to follow directions. If your submission does not have a picture, a bio, and the track you want considered - It will not be considered. It broke my heart yesterday to delete some people who got mad skills but didn’t see it through all the way to the end.

I'm not even going to front like I watch BET's 106 & Park because I for damn sure dont. But, while I was surfing the Internet today I came across Young Buck doing a freestyle. At first I cringed at the thought, but after hearing it - I'm on the fence.

The history of music is replete with dynamic duos, all of whom have made an indelible impression on this genre of music called hip-hop. Over the years great acts like EPMD, Raekwon & Ghostface, Outkast and 8ball & MJG have made history by consistently releasing classic material that has impacted the lives of generations to come. With the release of Atlanta based duo Playaz Circle's fantastic debut LP entitled Supply And Demand, Tity Boi and Dolla Boy will make history by expanding the list of seminal hip-hop duos by one more entry.

Ludacris threw a verbal jab at T.I. on 106 & Park recently. I just thought you all would like to check it out for yourselves. I’m sure no one is surprised that the Gyant isn’t feeling it. Call me a hater but I just feel its time for Hip-Hop to get a major overhaul. It’s either getting too old, or the music is becoming baseless, uninspiring, and just over all LAME.

Yung Joc's sophomore effort made a small splash on this weeks Billboard charts coming in at number three selling a meager 69,000 copies. I think is safe to say that Hustlenomics is a failure. But at least he got these webisodes out of it. Check them out.

After so many years in the game why can’t Toomp get the credit and attention he deserves?
