Thank God it’s Friday! Don’t forget that Monday AM I will kick off the SOHH Atlanta showcase. I just wanted to give all my musicians one last chance to get your submissions in.

The event is showcasing an independent artists by the name of Vawn aka Mr. HolyHood. And that’s when it hit me; it’s time to bring back “SoHH Atlanta’s Own”.

Here’s what you got to do:

1. Have some hot sh*t. And be unsigned. I mean it, no labels allowed! This is all about INDEPENDANCE!!!
2. Email me a picture, bio, music track and a proper email address.
3. The song has to be an MP3 format. DO NOT SEND MYSPACE PAGES AS YOUR TRACK.
4. Email your submission to sohhgyant@gmail.com


If your submission doesn’t have the top three specifications, it will not be considered.

This showcase isnt just for Hip-Hop it can be Neo-Soul and R&B too.

SOHH.com is a driving force in this industry. Plenty of industry people check out the blogs, particularly SOHH Atlanta on a daily basis. You never know where your music could end up.

The showcase will run first thing next Monday, August 27th, 2007. Get those submissions in. Good Luck!

1. Matt Herbz was nominated for the city of Atlanta humanitarian award. His work in feed the poor programs and feeding attractive 20 somethings has been extremely successful.

2. White Nigga Movement members have decided to stop wearing Patrick Kerney jerseys after the alleged rape that took place last year. This is due in part to our brotha from anotha Mike Vick getting boycotted by everyone else, we just had to do our part.

3. WNM07 t-shirts will be in stores this fall. Look for us at Greenbriar mall, Phipps Plaza, Plaza Fiesta, Cobb Galleria (of course, Marietta stand up!), and Lenox Mall. Go cop yours to be the freshest in your block!
