Serius can really blow up if they market him right, dude got real talent. I hope they don't try to make him the next ________ and just let him create his own lane, for lack of a better word.
I'm going to be interested to see how DTP handles this guy because he is a talented MC who has all the tools to be successful. DTP is on the clock.
This is a good look for DTP. They needed another dope emcee
Field Mob were the hottest lyricist on that label and Luda couldnt even push them right. Luda cares about himself, Serius Jones will be one and done.

Now that was a nice set right there. Dude got skills. Even if half of that was memorized the other half you know was off the top by the verses. Too bad that nigga from up north and not out the A. Still hot tho.
So Smoke must be the one you saw that said he's pursuing the solo career since he's the only Field Mob member on the album huh. You still planning to hit us with the interview?

Its not a bad thing he from up north. My point was not too many cats from down south can spit like that. It woulda been nice if he was truly from the A. I know none of the dudes off of DTP can freestyle like that so lets hope he can step up DTP's game.
Where's FIELD MOB??

Serius is that nigga man, When he destroyed Jin I was an instant fan.
Go Check out Talkin Videos today yall give me some feedback I know my ATL fam keeps it real at all times
i thought DTP dropped shawnna? what she doin on the album?
Just checked the BET freestyle! Dam the promotion, money comparisons, bling, street cred, and all the other topical conversations and topics surrounding hip-hop discussions today!! WHEN DOES THIS ALBUM DROP?? Serious is for real!!!! NAS did say that hip hop has hope, IT LIVES!!!!
WHERE THE HELL IS MY 4 IZE INTERLUDE...
Serious jones is a real mc. but i think goin to DTP was a shit move. straight dumbass. what kinda of jersey nigga would fuck with the south??? did he think that would work??? dtp at that??? he should have signed to def jam. luda will never let serious jones get no real shine. Serious jones's best bet at success is ghostwriting for luda. I hope serious jones dont make no "aunt jackie" type shit just to be on 106 and park.
all i know is i went to Florida A&M with the young man serious jones and i never saw him rap..or bust a gun..or do anything he rapping bout..or get at the hoes...he was cooler than the rest of them clowns from jersey though..hope he sell a mil
DTP is LAME as HELL for letting Chingy back into the fold. This nigga goes on record and tries to diss them. Then Luda came back with a line of his own dissing Chingy. But now everything's ok and he's back on the label?? Chingy's a bitch. DTP just signed Serius Jones and re-signed a nigga that was dissin' them (VERY LOUDLY, I might add). That speaks volumes of what the DTP brass think about their current roster of artists. THEY ALL SUCK (except for Shawnna, she can get it... daily... twice on Sundays).

@ why would you sign to dtp if you are from jersey???
That's because the South is the shit right now... THAT'S WHY HOMIE!! The alpha and the omega at this point. We got plenty of labels to choose from... THAT'S WHY HE CHOSE TO FUCK WITH THE SOUTH, HOMIE!! Where else was he gonna go?? Shawn Carter probably told him he'd be better off at DTP or Grand Hustle somewhere because Def Jam has way too many on the roster (all you "up-toppers" think Def Jam is gonna sign you because you're from "up-top"). Luda'll probably feature on his 1st or 2nd single, (which'll set him up rather nicely, might I add) WHO GIVES A FUCK THAT HE'S FROM JERSEY?? Serius wants to get paid. POINT BLANK!! Don't hate on his smart decision to align himself with a SOUTHERN superstar!! You would too, if you had the chance. The game NEEDS the South!!
Enough said!!

That is true and I think that's were alot of the problems come from as regards to NYC rappers going at Southern rappers.
I think if more Southern rappers could flow like Serius there wouldn't be as much hate coming from "up top". But Southern rappers have to do they own thang so copying someone's style and swag isn't the best way to go.
I'm from the Midwest, spent some time in the dirty, and now I live in NYC, so I've able live in different regions and been exposed to different styles and I think that NYC dudes feel like they hip hop fahter cause it started in NYC and if you ain't doing like they doing it then it wrong, but that some bullshit. As black people we have a hard enough time trying to get other cultures to respect and value our culture, we should respect each other differences which are minor when compared to what we have in common. Everybody love hip hop at end of the day, so let build on that.
Regardless though, S.Jones can get it done on mic, with so many gimmick rappers out these days it's good see a real talented dude have success.
I LUV DAT DUFFLE BAG BOY BY WAYNE AND PLAYAZ CIRCLE! HOT SONG!
Small World is the best rapper on DTP, but this Serious guy is good too just not the best on that label, lol. Small World(Norfclk) King of North Carolina
gyant slow as all fckin hell with what goin on in the A. Serius Jones is anotha Cassidy. Back in the days when lyrics were everything, serius would be hot. But these days when the hook, beat, and delivery is what counts. Serius comes with strong funny punchlines for days which shows great potential. The beats ive heard him on and the hooks he's made and his delivery have been weak on everything ive heard so far. If Luda picks his beats and cowrites the hooks, he could be big, but if he goes at it alone, his sound isnt catchy enough for the down south market.
Know doubt dude is mean with his mic game but some how emcees like this always get wack production and end up with a bullshit albums. I hope like hell I am wrong in this case because it would be a serious waste of talent! Unlike most dude got a good delivery and a versatile flow! Waiting to see if he blows!
