I wasnâ€™t going to report this story on SOHH Atlanta because I know how touchy some of the readers get when I donâ€™t talk about A.) Hip-Hop, or B.) Hip-Hop. But a lot of the comments have been requesting it so here I go.

Basically, Michael Vick is in deep sh*t. We all know why, but I know a lot of people donâ€™t realize exactly what is at stake for Atlantaâ€™s most popular quarterback.

All I can say is that itâ€™s good to have friends in high places, because I got some exclusive sh*t for you.

I ran this story on my other blog site yesterday. So this is a straight rip from there.

Atlantaâ€™s arguably most popular quarterback is about to have even more problems on his hands.
According to published reports, Vick, who also goes by the name â€œOokieâ€, has officially been indicted for his alleged participation in a dogfighting operation so gruesome the losers either died in the pit or sometimes were electrocuted, drowned, hanged or shot.
But from what my sources are telling me, this is just the tip of the iceberg for the multi-millionaire.

O1LT.com has leaned exclusively that Vick could possibly be suspended from the Atlanta Falcons as soon as next week over his dogfighting controversy. An informant told me exclusively that the NFL Commissioner Roger Goodellâ€™s decision plays heavy on the fact that Vickâ€™s trial could overshadow the upcoming season. â€œThe NFL has a reputation, the team has a reputation, and the media and the public are putting pressure on the commissioner.â€

My source also expresses to me that the owner of the Falcons Arthur Blank is very, very upset with Michael.

Vickâ€™s off the field antics have already cost him his Air-Tran endorsement. And now itâ€™s looking like his million dollar salary is next.

And if that ain't bad enough Nike has suspended Vick's new shoe line. The number one athletic company in the world has told retailers it will not release a fifth signature shoe, the Air Zoom Vick V, this summer.

A statement released by Nike Inc. the company said "they are concerned by the serious and highly disturbing allegations made against Michael Vick, and we consider any cruelty to animals inhumane and abhorrent. We do believe that Michael Vick should be afforded the same due process as any citizen; therefore, we have not terminated our relationship.

So there you go. Is it fair, or is it a witch hunt?

He's making the Falcons look real bad right now. First, the marijuana thing, now this. Blank is a classy dude, so expect some kind of disciplinary action on his part--Mike just might get let go. They'll void his contract, pay the penalty and forget about dude. He'll go down in history like another Ricky Williams--all the natural talent to get him that far, but his personal life is fucking shit up. He's popular, but the stats show he's not the greatest. He's fucking up all his potential future earnings on some backwoods bullshit. Where's his dad when you need someone to kick some sense into his ass? The fact is, if the prosecutors don't have any HARD evidence, most likely, Mike will be let off with a warning, but his rep is already tarnished--especially hearing shit like he threw dogs on the ground and put dogs on rape stands and shit...

I have thought for a long time now that athletes should be required to take sportsmanship classes including community service starting in middle school. That would head off a lot of these problems when you throw millions of dollars into the hands of a very young person. They are not properly developed as human beings in many cases. People who excel in sports are fawned over long before they enter the professional sports leagues. For those that don't make it to college sports let alone professional often don't fare well in life as I have personally witnessed many many times. Michael Vick needs some home training. I don't know if I want to give up on him completely, because he strikes me as the type of person who would run through his remaining money in no time flat and wind up in a life of crime if he is booted from the league.

They have been trying to get Vick since he came into the league. They couldn't stand that he changed the QB position like he did. Plus he was a brother with style and flare, they didn't like that. So they have always been looking for a way to shoot him down. I just hope he didn't give them the amunition to do so.

You people are ignorant that are supporting Vick. This isn't a "brother" issue -it's not about race. It's about the law, cruelty to animals and what you are allowed and not allowed to do in this society. When the feds indict, they have the evidence-it's solid. I know this for a fact. Whatever they have-their case is already done. They simply don't indict munless they have clear and concise evidence. Michael Vick is a punk-plain and simple. I would say that if he were white, yellow, green or red. I don't care about race-those animals suffered terribly and he's a thug for taking part in it. If people can't see beyond race-that's their ignorance. I am sickened and disgusted that someone of his character makes the kind of money he does because he can throw a ball but a service man, teacher, policeman/woman or firefighter, can barely support a family. Don't glorify Vick. HOld him accountable. He is idolized by our youth-is this what we want them to look up to. He lacks grace, character, honor, integrity and sportsmanship. No matter how much money he ever gets, it will never buy him those qualities. For all those that think this is about race--get your head out of the gutters and stop playing the race card. It's not all about race. Look at the pictures-it's just plain cruel. Michael Vick needs to stand up and answer to these allegations, come clean and step off the field. For once, be a man!

You stated you didn't think Michael Vick was guilty. I am from the same area as Michael Vick. He's a punk-there's just no other way around it. If I were African-American-I would want a better role model, especially if I had kids that thought he was so great! I think you described several things that Michael Vick has done and none of them give Michale Vick much character or credit. Secondly, I guess you think OJ is innocent too? This isn't about the white man, the black man or any race-it's about evidence the feds found after an extensive investigation, which in turn, pointed to Michael Vick being involved in a very gruesome and disgusting dog fighting ring. I don't think you do any service to the African-American community by playing the race card like this. Sometimes it is about the law. You do know what laws are, don't you?

first of all i stated incidents that happened to micheal vick which turned out not to be true. so someone accusing him doesnt make him a bad role model or a person with poor character, it makes him a target. their is evidence yes, but he was letting his people use his home to stay in so its a very big big possibility they were doing the dog fighting to make $ becaue A)they're living in somebody elses house and obviously cant afford thier own B)they dont play ball so what could they be doing to make $? i just think micheal is caught up in the crossfire of someone else wrong doing and it makes it worse on him because he's a celebrity and black. and i dont think oj is innocent i just think he had a extremely good lawyer.
