**RUMOR CONTROL** Did Young Buck Scream "F@$K G-Unit" At HOT 107.9's Birthday Bash?!?

I feel the need to come to an artists' defense over this new internet rumor that’s gaining strong momentum.

While I know I’ve been known to start my share of sh*t with a few celebs, I really think I, and who ever else was at the Birhday Bash this weekend, needs to step up and clear the air.

According to various blogs on the net, people are claiming that this weekend, at the HOT 107.9 Birthday Bash, – Young Buck got on stage and shouted to the crowd “Fuck G-Unit, my new label Cashville Records is the new Unit now!!”

As salacious as that rumor is – I can categorically deny that he said anything even remotely close to that.

Was Young in the building – yes. Was he talking about business matters outside of G-Unit – yes. Did he say fuck G-unit or anything remotely close to that – no!

I love how all these sites are quoting the man like they were there. And im laughing myself silly over people who are just straight up lying – like this person who said:

Birthday Bash was alrite but compared to last year it was kinda wack...I mean half the artist there really only had 1 song that they could perform...compared to last year's line up this years was boo-boo! I had good seats right in front of the stage but after TI and Jeezy performed I sat down for the rest of the nite! I got crunk again as we were leavin and I turned around and seen Webbie, Boosie, and Foxx on the stage...I hope Birthday Bash 13 has more to offer!

Though I wont call this particular person out by name. It’s obvious that they weren’t at the concert. If they were then they would have known that TI and Jeezy didn’t perform together until the tail end of the entire concert.

So how were you sitting down for the rest of the night?

  • Str8^ Gyant. Set that fuckin record straight. People so easily forget the interviews just a month ago with Buck sayin, "Im G-Unit to the Bone Grissle" and "Im G-Unit for life" not even including the fact that in the new 50 interview at AHH.com the interviewer says: "I talked to Buck last week and he said you put him in a position to win".

    Damn the G-Unit hate is THICK.

    Don't get mad cause u got ur card pulled and u got caught lyin to the public. I don't know what site u report for, but u should be fired and forced to work for the Weekly World News. U was probably one of the "reporters" that "saw" 50's arm get chopped off at the "this is how we do" video shoot.

  • Man kill the G-Unit hate, 50 is one of the realest in the game and he took care of his crew, not too many rapper can say they did that. Buck went platinum, Banks went platinum, Yayo sold over 800K, The Game went double platinum but did Yayo numbers with out G-Unit, the dude has done a lot for the game. Buck is G-Unit for life, though him and 50 don’t agree on everything which is normal in any family, they are down with each other, Buck recognizes who helped put him in this position to pick up. As far as the concert, I was there and he didn’t say F*ck G-Unit, all he said was that he has Cashville Records set up, he has distribution and he just signed the The Outlaws & C-Bo from the West. He said that 50 didn’t give him that, he did it on his own and to me that was more of a shot at Game who had just had a set before Buck came on and was dissing G-Unit. I can believe people hate 50 and his success that much, he’s the realest in the game. Sad…. Niggas just say, “Hey lets make some sh*t up”.
