The Rock Movement Continues...Montana Da Mack Is Showing The World How To Do The "Rock Man"(Video)!!

I caught up with young hoodstar Montana "Da Mac" recently to find out what all the hype is regading him and his popular song "Rock On (Do The Rock Man)"

Check out what all the buzz is about below....

The streets have been buzzing about this new kat known to many as “Montana Da Mac”. But that isn’t enough for the up and coming rap hood star as he is eyeing world domination with the his new music.

Capitalizing off the “rock movement”, his new song, “Rock On (do the rock the man)” is gaining a strong following.

In a time where hip-hop has become as generic as any household-cleaning product, this lil dude has masterfully done the unimaginable. Montana, and his team, has created such a buzz for themselves that they've managed to work out a ground breaking deal with Koch Records/Savoirfair Entertainment (Sywafair) that’s so monumental in itself you wouldn’t believe the details if I told you..so I wont!

But what I will say is that under this new deal with Koch -- Savoirfair has gained 100% control of all their masters, which is virtually unheard of in the music business period!!

Random Thought…

There is also a possible feud brewing between rock enthused hip-hop group “Shop Boyz”. Apparently they don’t have any luv for Montana and made it very well known while talking to HOT 107.9 Mizz Shyneka recently.

I also heard that there was a run in with Shop Boyz affiliates and Montana at a club here in Atlanta.

What do y’all think about that? I’m sure you all know what the hell I’m thinking..

  • You know what... on the real, as a east coast nigga (DC, NC, VA, GA, MA) I would have to say that Atlanta is the only city that I've been in where niggas think it's wrong to sound like you're underground. Every other nigga in this city wants to be (or sound like their) commercial. And what makes it worst is that people here copy each other so much that they forget about who came out with it first. Run DMC started this thing that Montana and Shop Boyz are arguing about, and you know what, there's going to be someone else in the A to do another rock rap one, and then they are going to argue with these two. May I remind you that this is the same city where Goodie Mob and Outkast are from. With the exception of Ludacris and T.I. (when he's good), I haven't heard anyone out the A who is on Outkast's and Goodie Mob level. Ain't nothing wrong with doing club shit, but there's a lot more shit in Atlanta to talk about outside of sex, drugs, violence, and money. And even if you talk about the same shit, come with it differently.
