The New Atlanta trio, Shop Boyz, have been burning the radio airwaves and night clubs up with their rock infused hit “Party Like A Rock Star”.
Since you know I’m the hardest working blogger, that never gets any sleep, I got not one but two tracks from their upcoming album which hits stores on June 26th. Check them out after the jump.
First off I got to shout out my dude Freeze Fiyah for hooking me up with the remix track that was produced by Lil John. I got a lot of respect for Mr. What, Ok! but he’s fallen off major on the production side of things. Hell the remix sounds like the original!

The thing I luv most about this group is that their just having fun! FAT, MEANY and SHEED made a song about partying like some fucking rock stars, and deep down don’t we all want that--just party? The concept of the song is genius as the group’s riotous blast of hip hop-meets-rock has transformed southern hip-hop.
If you feel like seeing these kats perform live this track - there currently on a promo tour and should be coming to a city near you really soon. Check Out Their Myspace Page. Of course if you’re in Atlanta—I got you! They are scheduled to perform at Club Primetime on Sunday May 13th and you know Gyant will be in the building.

That song "Party Like A Rock Star," is killing the radio right now.
I think it's really creative, I don't think any rap artists have made a song about "Being Like a Rock Star," the only one that comes to mind is Run DMC and the song they did with Arrow Smith or whoever that guy was.
But if all the tracks on the album are as good as these are I'll consider buying the album, but will only listen to it as a party refreshment.
Something else I'm looking foward to is Andre 3000's Album, can't wait till that drops too.
