DJ Drama Faces More Legal Troubles!!!

DJ Drama has had a trying year so far and we’re not even half way through it. Well all know about the over exaggerated arrest that was made against him a few months ago.

And if the RIAA breathing down DJ Drama’s neck wasn’t bad enough he’s now being forced to change the name that everyone knows him to be. Read more after the jump.

According to MTV News Tyree is being forced to retire his well known moniker because of a little-known spinner out of Chicago has the rights to the name.


"You can Google for 400 pages and you wouldn't see anything about this guy," the Drama we know said recently. "It's all good, though. I've been through so much already â€" this is not a big deal. Some of the greats have had to go through things like this. I guess I'll just Notorious B.I.G. the game. I'll probably change my name to Dram or Dramatic and just keep it moving. The people know who the real DJ Drama is, though."

This “AKA” issue is apparently holding up his highly anticipated albumâ€" Gangsta Grillz. However, he’s hopeful that this matter will be resolved soon. He also is confident that his new album will drop sometime this spring.
