Bow Wow, Crime Mob, And Mims Not Fuckin With ATL Anymore?!?

So what is wrong with this picture? It was announced on Monday that MIMS, Crime Mob and Bow Wow were hitting the road to support their albums and hopefully pull in some cash since their records aren’t selling. But, when I looked at the dates and locations, I didn’t see Atlanta on the list anywhere. What’s up with that?
Now we all know that Crime Mob, and Bow Wow aren’t the most popular rappers in the ATL but I look at it as a huge smack in the face to the people of this city when they completely skip our city altogether.
First it was Jim Jones, Young Jeezy, and Lil Wayne with that damn "Street Dream Tour". They completely ignored ATL and now this, whose next?
If they can’t come to the city that’s been holding them down well before they were even a thought to the rest of the world, then I say we boycott the music!
While I’m being facetious, I wonder, would Atlanta go out to support them if they added dates to perform here?

They missing alot of big cities, who ever promoted this tour probably didn't have the cash to get them in the big venues in big markets like Atl, Mia, NYC. Hell, Mims is from NYC and they ain't coming here, it looks like they on the small to medium market tour, every city they going to doesn't a have population over 1mm people.
Don't take it personal, I'm sure you can make the trip to Macon or Columbus to scream your lungs out for Shaud and them over non-talented acts.
Fuck all three of those guys. I rather see Big Daddy Kane, Special Ed, EPMD, or Gangstarr. Dont worry Gyant, we dont give a shyt about them not including Atlanta....its the vomit tour, you wouldnt be able to stomach the monkey azz bullshyt that these three acts are going to present. I cant imagine how many times these mufuckas are going to say, " Albums in stores, go cop that" on stage. Im throwing up in my mouth as I type this...brrrruyaaaack!!!

Well it’s obvious they don't have a big promoter (or someone willing to invest a lot with these acts) which explains why they are doing smaller cities. Now from my understanding that by not having a big sponsor or promoter you pocket more of the tour money but lose out on merchandise money due to the smaller crowds. I don't think it’s a diss to bigger cities but they are just working with what they have at this time. In the past a lot of Bow Wow tours had some pretty big underwriting so they could go to bigger cities...who knows??
1.) They all suck.
2.) When an act is scheduling a tour they might not be able to get a specific venue. That doesn't mean they don't want to perform in Atlanta, it just means that maybe all of the available venues were already booked for the day they would have been able to fit it into the touring schedule.

Gyant you have me confused on this one. I assume you know something about the entertainment industry, but now I'm not so sure.
Artists don't pick the tour routes. They can try to get a promoter to pick them up in certain areas, but they can't force someone to book them and they damn sure ain't paying for their own shows. A promoter has to pick up the tour in each city. Clearly no one in Atlanta tried to book them. Possibly for the reason you state; they are not hot there.
Promoters spend a lot of money for these artists and there needs to be a reasonable expecation to make their money back and then some. Who wants to see Bow Wow other than in movies? Mims has ONE hot song. That ain't good enough for a concert. And what was the name of the other act? Never mind. You get my point. I'm surprised they were able to book a tour at all.
Crime Mobb isn't the best group by far but I know would BEAT THE BRAKES off that princess chick in their group. I love that blonde hair for some reason.....

That shit won't last more than a few weeks and will have to stop due to lack of attendance. Crime Mob is aight but they should have gotten on with some better people.
As far as the nas thing, it would have been good to know about it. My and my white niggaz would have probably been there but word didn't get around to my zone of town (north zone-marietta). There are certain rappers that EVERYONE wants to see no matter if you're in the south, east, or west!
