Young Jeezy In The Studio Producing A Classic Album?!?

Youngjeezy_cjc.jpg

What a disappointment yesterday turned out to be. I had a scheduled interview with Bow Wow that completely fell through. I was supposed to go to Young Jeezy’s party in Tucker, but failed to RSVP my photographer so I couldn’t go. And after all that I still couldn’t seem to manage to get into the gym and bust a sweat.

But since I couldn’t get to Young Jeezy’s event last night, I figured I would issue my daily dose of hate. Y’all know how I do

Remember the beef that happen between The Game and Young Buck in Las Vegas? Well Young Jeezy is finally speaking out on exactly what happened. In case you weren’t aware, Young Jeezy was rumored to be in the middle of the beef. But Jeezy told MTV that

"I ain't get [bad vibes] from either one of them. If it was gonna be something, it would have been something. It ain't gotta be no song. We grown. That ain't the way you handle that. If it was a problem, it's a problem, but it wasn't a problem. People made something outta nothing. That's what I hate about the industry. ... I was hearing [rumors]. I was like, 'Hell no.' I was there, that ain't happen.”

He went to say:

"I'mma keep it G...It was my party, I was where I was supposed to be. I'm cool with Buck and Game. Just by saying that, they respected that. They didn't have no words, they didn't have no altercation, just two people who ain't never really been in the same building at the same time in a long time. I guess everybody felt a way about that. I talked to Game after that, I talked to Buck after that. Nobody really said anything about it. It wasn't a problem. It was just everybody was in the building, it was a gangsta party. What's wrong with that? It was a lot of ladies, a lot of gangstas, a lot of fun, by the way."

Young J has also been rumored to be in the studio already prepping for another album separate from the USDA group. According to Jeezy, the album will be a "classic".

"When I say a classic, this is the one! I ain't concentrating on nothing but this. ... I gotta bring the streets back, be me in every way and walk through the fire no matter what nobody says. All the people who love what I do, I'mma make it right. When you working on your third LP, people be like, 'What can I do to get these type of fans?' I'mma do me. Sometimes when you're on the third album you aren't hungry. I'm starving! I'm walking around with a steak knife and fork in my pocket. I'm ready to eat."

What y’all think? Can Jeezy even come close to making a classic Album?

Happy Birthday to Bow Wow! And RIP Biggie! We miss you a lot bruh!

Y’all take it easy,

FIRST YOU UGLY INBRED BITCHES!

Aight we already Jeezy is straight but why rush with another album!?
He's hungry and that's cool but at the same time he's too greedy and tryin' to follow in Fat Joe's footsteps, niggaz gots to be loyal to their group your a leader you need to let everybody eat that's why people still got love for 50 Cent, even Tony Yayo dropped an album and Gay ass Hot Rod will drop an album too that's how you get love from your homies and not just by putting them in the video, whatever happened to Slick Pulla and them other niggas, don't tell me these niggaz is lazy, Jezzy is one of the realest right now but he needs to stop bein' greedy let his homies shine.

ONE!

I hope Tupac gets the same maybe even more when September comes around. For those who didnt know Pac was one of the first big name artist to show love for the "2 album king of NY".

b easy

Jeezy already has a southern classic in Thug Motivation 101 IMO. but everything classic has to get the NY stamp of approval right? GTFOH.

He don't have it in him to make another classic. He's hungry for record sells and popularity, not the art. u can tell in The Inspiration. He was never that lyrical, but i swear, Jeezy fell asleep and didn't grow one inch as an artist. He might go plat, but his album will be far from a classic.

Mainstream cornball niggaz will by his shit no doubt.....but to me he sucks as a rapper, there is nothing lyrical about his at all....how much can your rap about that "white"....that shit s sooo boring. What do people see in this guy in the first place.

Negro please, hate all you want but Jeezy has already made classic albums
1. Trap or Die ( it was a mixtape, but I was in Philly that summer, and everybody was bumpin that shit)
2. Thug Motivation ( Not a classic but it still gets play 2 years later)

To be continued
stop hatin on the boi Jeezy, fuck all that bullshit " he aint a lyricist" shit. Were the founders of hip hop lyricist's??? Hell no they made beats that moved the crowd, and they influnced black culture.
But fuc that its friday, and tonight Im going to

THis is about biggie! about his life, his legacy. why do you have to bring pac up all the time like they were twins or something!

in september it'll be about pac but now its all about big! stfu!

R.I.P. to the real King of NY and the greatest rapper!

if you cant rap how can you produce a classic album??

Thug Motivation 101 = Classic

www.myspace.com/boc1010

His first album might be considered a classic. He introduced us to a lot of new metaphors for cooking crack, pulling out burners, and making shipments arrive at their destinations--for that, he will be remembered. But, pretty much everyone agrees that Thug Inspiration was a flop, so he's got to dig himself out of his hole before he can climb to classic status again. If I were him, though, I'd hang it up and cash out now; live fat for the rest of my life.

YEAH JEEZY HAS GARNERED MY RESPECT. THE INSPIRATION IS A PRETTY SOLID ALBUM.
I JUST WISH THEY WOULD STOP SAYING HE IS CERTIFIED PLATNUM HE IS NOT. YET....

You have to be Lyrical to make a classic album. All this fucking guy does is spit the same shit about the trap and then goes off with the adlibs.Nothing hot about this gut.

Man.
All these 90's babies dont even know what a classic album is. Jezzy has never made a classic album. You have to break down what makes an album classic. It has to be something that comes from the heart of the hiphop community. Something that comes in and smashes everything you know about the game and changes it forever. An album that 15 years after it drops you can still play it front to back.
Im not saying Jeezy CANT make a classic album. He can rap a little bit. Im just saying don't call something you know isnt a classic a classic.
Examples:
Southern Playalistic Caddilac Music
Ready to Die
Straight Outta Compton
36 Chambers
The Chronic
All Eyez On Me
Illmatic
Blueprint

These are newer examples because if I go too far back I would confuse some of the HipPoppers. If Young Jeezy can make an album of this caliber to me is doubtful. You never know what an MC can do tho. People change swag and style alot, but there has to be more substance to Jeezy's album if he wants to call it a classic. Jeezy is good at what he does, no doubt. Putting a Classic label on an album is some serious shit, so Jeezy will have to make a more serious album if he wants that label on his.

@ zone 4 stunna - i agree with you on dat. TRAP OR DIE was a classic mixtape. i was in ILLINOIS that summer an erbody here was bumpin that shit.
an aye. dat 'PARTY LIKE A ROCKSTAR' song need a video. lmao. thats my shit!

Thug Motivation 101 was a good album coming from a nigga reportin live from his LIFE. i meen he did motivate the thugs? Jeezy never claimed to be lyrical so yea that mite hurt his chances of 'fans' and 'critics' sayin that he has a classic album but, the boy iz doing classic shit by giving niggas 'classic' jobs and 'classic' opportunities...ya dig?

@ EReal - i feel yo list with MAYBE minus the BLUEPRINT but i know wut u meant by 'newer examples' but i totally agree with you on he needs more substance to be considered for classic. i meen lets be honest, everytime an artist iz asked about their up coming project they ALWAYS say its gonna b a CLASSIC or its my 'MOST PERSONAL ONE' yet...lol

...but i fucks wit Jeezy.

..o. aye. that Vegas shit wit GAME & BUCK was sum media shit. niggas gettin too much money to be actin like high schoolers with these little scuffles in public. its too many women in this world to b wrestling wit 'another artist' n VEGAS?! come on.

Black American from Africa offers his view on Obama's 'blackness' Willis Shalita

Thursday, March 1, 2007

Black America better wake up and smell the coffee. Time for playing the race card in national politics is over, but much more than that, it is a disgrace, especially coming from victims of racism. The recent rumblings from some quarters of the black community that Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill., is not black enough or that "he has not lived our experience" because his ancestors have no ties to slavery, are utter nonsense. Stanley Crouch, a black columnist, wrote in November, "When black Americans refer to Obama as 'one of us,' I do not know what they are talking about." Well, let me tell Crouch in no uncertain terms what they mean: Obama was born here to an African father, and in that sense he is probably more African American than Crouch is. As a reflection of the changing political and social landscape, black Americans have gone from being called colored, to Negro and then to African Americans. So now, Obama is ostracized because his father is African? What part of being African American are these people proud of? It takes more than wearing a dashiki to be an African. The black author an essayist, Debra J. Dickerson, said, "His father was African. His mother is a white woman. He grew up with white parents." And then she goes on to say; "But there's a lot of distance between black Africans and African Americans." You don't say! All of these years, those of us who emigrated from Africa have strived to narrow this gap by reaching out, but our efforts have not been always successful whenever we have tried to interest black America in the values and traditions of Africa. We who were born in Africa are still seen through the Tarzan mythology, our accents mistaken for lack of education and our clinging to African ways as a sign of backwardness. Yet these are the values that help us, and other immigrants, to move ahead through hard work, education and maintaining solid family lives. I was born in Uganda, and I am a proud American
citizen because this country has given me the chance to live the good life. I am black and proud of it, but there is so much more than my ethnicity that defines me. I, too, have been told that I am not a true black American. But who sets the bar? Who defines what it means to be a black American? Surely connections to slavery should not define our identity and our destiny. Africa, too was colonized, but Africans have moved on. They don't continue to try to make hay from that chapter of their history. African Americans should take heed. It breaks my heart that it is black Americans who are bringing up the issue of Obama's ethnicity. To challenge the first black presidential candidate with a realistic shot at winning the White House as somehow not black enough, because he has a white mother and an African father, baffles the mind. If this demand for ethnic purity is not confronted, it will remain a sad commentary on the state of black America. If the credential for
being black enough is growing up in the "hood" and experiencing the ugly side of our race-conscious society, Lord have mercy. Obama has lived the American experience, has worked hard for his community, has never denied his people and he is uniquely qualified to run for president. Interesting enough, many great black Americans, such as Shirley Chisholm, the first black woman elected to Congress, civil rights activists W.E.B. Du Bois and Stokely Carmichael, former Secretary of State Colin Powell and Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan, -- to mention but a few -- are, like Obama, descendants of African immigrants. White America never questions those white immigrants who have paid their dues and made it to the top, such as former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger, retired U.S. Gen. John Shalikashvili, former National Security Adviser Zbigniew Brzezinski, Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger and others of European descent. Leave it to black America to lay the land mines that will
sabotage meritocracy. Black America ought to heed Martin Luther King Jr.'s words and not judge Obama by the circumstances of his birth, but by the content of his character. Willis Shalita was born in Uganda, but is now a naturalized U.S. citizen. He works for the State Bar of California as a special investigator.

I shoulda put artists,
I was refering to the KRS Blueprtint, not JayZ's.

I was gonna put Reasonable Doubt, but I wanted to show all regions and not just NY, kna mean?

Can someone please call Dipset and tell them to hack this fat bitch's website?

Or SOHH, BAN THIS BITCH. THIS IS THE SHIT THAT RUINS YOUR SITE. WAKE UP.

Da fuck man??

First of all the only thing that Young Jeezy is inspiring our black culture todo is to sell drugs. Trying his hardest to glam it up and show off his street cred. That ni99a can't rap and all you b****s give him a pass. Jeezy ain't got it in him for a classic.

1)not bad gyant. u managed to put up someone who represents atl. impressive.

2)Jeezy makes club bangers and music for the ride. He admits he aint the best lyricist but he says your favorite rapper aint really lived that sht they talkin while he did.gotta respect the truth.

3)Trap or Die was a classic and Thug Motivation was close. The Inspiration overall is lacking those hard azz beats that the other albums had. Im sure he's lookin back at that now thinkin the same thing.

Two Comments :

"I gotta bring the streets back" When did they leave. All u talk about is "Snow", when did that change?

Classics...

Do you people know what a classic album is? Case in point...somebody(I'm not saying names) posted this...

"Jeezy makes club bangers and music for the ride. He admits he aint the best lyricist "

Please name me another classic album that's not made by an excellent "lyricst". And also...

"but he says your favorite rapper aint really lived that sht they talkin while he did.gotta respect the truth."

Since we do we respect criminals? It's one thing to talk about what you've done for "survival", its another to brag about it like its a badge of honor. And you wonder why CNN and Fox News bashes hip-hop so much. We stand up, protest, say nobody is glorifying this and that, and then this guy gets props for proudly showcasing the fact that he's a criminal? People come on. If we are going to celebrate this madness, then we can't complain when the media points out the obvious. I'm just saying, shit is out of order when you see 12 year old kids walking around with "Snowman" t-shirts on. Really, black people, we have to get it together. I like Jeezy, but selling drugs has nothing to do with your MC abilites. I'm not saying that its ok for artist to act like they've been in the streets when they haven't. That's just as bad, and It's really nothing to brag about. I grew up poor in the hood, and ain't shit glorius about that. But I must say this...just because you sold 4 keys, and Nas didn't sell any, doesn't make you a better MC, and an album full of club bangers is not a classic album. Sorry, that' sjust not the truth. I'd really like someone to list at least one classic album not done by a "lyricist"...Go ahead...I'll wait...

2)The words "Jeezy" and "classic album" shouldn't even be used in the same sentence. That's crimes against common sense right there.

Not to mention the fact he pretty much made all those numbers up:

Gyant, please ban this lil broad here...it can't be that hard. I can show you how if you need. Shorty be easy...friends can't be that hard to come by.

@king of new york look how long them other cats been in the game compared to the new cats and u r comparing money to album says when every1 knows u don't make your monry off that so your comment has no point

@ The Professer

Im not really talkin shit here, but Dre.
Dr. Dre has great story telling ability and The Chronic was classic. It made you see and feel the west coast completely but IMO, thats the only one I could think of. Dre isnt really the best lyricist on that album, IMO, but its a classic fo sho.

@EReal

Good Point. Excellent example, but I will point out that the majority of the songs on the chronic were anchored by exceptional MC's, and all of Dre's solo joint were written by exceptional MC's. He gets a pass only because he is a producer. But good point nonetheless.

Great points EReal and The Professor

but I agree with The Professor. Dre is a producer and has writers churn out the lyrics while he and a team of producers produce.

I think anybody would be hard pressed to find Classic albums made by 'nonlyrical cats'

If you say Jeezy ain't hot then why you got NY niggas trying to steal his flow.He is one of the realest out right now so hate all you want. Besides the nigga went plat twice already for damn sure he can do it again. Fuck u HATERZ!!

@ *K!NG* øf N€W ¥0RK

Yo your numbers are off, if you gonna post numbers make sure you know what the hell you talkin about. Go look up the real numbers on those album sales and repost. And why you put 0 next to an album that hasn't dropped yet? WTF! Yea its 0, the ish hasn't came out yet.
Im not a fan of alot the artist on that list but i dont hate on the fact that people are checkin for they sh!t.

You got hate in your blood

www.myspace.com/boc1010

@ King Of New York

Yeah, those figures are way the fuck off. Dre is actually worth closer to 500 mill than 150 mill. Nas is no where close to being worth 30 mill. He just became an official millinaire when he signed w/Def Jam.(3 albums 12 million). Diddy the last I read was worth 500 + and rising. Where in the hell u get them figures from!? Try again

Trap Or Die is a CLASSIC mixtape! (Everyone knows that!)
Thug Motivation 101 is a CLASSIC street album (Even Jay-Z said so).
The Inspiration is just a damn good album.

Jeezy put together solids albums trappin or not the shit he put out on trap or die and thug motivation i can listen to til this day. Go anywhere and put "Get em Jeez", "Ova Here", "trap or die" etc. and watch the place go crazy...

Wtf! Does this even exist? -> "a CLASSIC mixtape"

"Thug Motivation 101 is a CLASSIC street album"...really...what's the difference?

his shit is gonna sound like all the rest of his shit...........hot garbage

No Way, not close

I agree with what most of you are saying about the classics in regards to being exclusive to great lyricists but what about an album like "get rich or die trying". Which ever way you look at it that joint completely changed the game and you wont see 50 topping any lyricists charts anytime soon!! BTW Jeezy make some hard records man but I cant see the guy ever having a defining album in hip hop history!!

"I gave it to em raw mixtape after mixtape (yeah)
I had niggas waiting on the album
I shoulda got five mics in the Source
Instead I got five bricks and a Porsche (haha)
They sat I aint lyrical
I wasnt tryna impress yall niggas
If hatin was a crime theyd arrest yall niggas "

thug motivation was hot shit and so was cant ban the snowman and trap or die...

thug motivation to me is beyond classic

They sat I aint lyrical
I wasnt tryna impress yall niggas
If hatin was a crime theyd arrest yall niggas "

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

When did telling the truth become hating? Gotta love young ignorance.

Nope jeezy wont make another classic maybe a classic of coold beats but rapping wise jeezy is wack, cant rap, and hes a hypocrite.

Some of you ignorant fucks are so stupid it's funny. People go from saying its a "Classic mixtape" to a "classic stree album" do you fucks even know what a classic is? A classic is an album that you can listen to for a decade and it never getting old, it has to be one of the best lyrical albumbs, and best content albums that you have ever heard, EVER. The Chronic is coming up on 20 years old, and I still have that shit in my CD DECK! You think I will have jeezy's in there 10 years from now? I burnt his first album and took it out the next day! You guys need to get real. A Classic is an albumb that nobody denies. Period. NOBODY denies All Eyez on Me, NOBODY denies Illmatci, etc.

HE CAN'T MAKE A CLASSIC ALBUM AND WHY U ASK???HE TALKS ABOUT THE SAME EXACT SHIT EVERY OTHER RAPPER TALKS ABOUT.THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN HIMSELF AND OTHER RAPPERS IS HE DONT REALL SPIT RHYMES.THE NIGGA IS TALKIN.AND YELLIN ADLIBS.LOL.IF HE CAN MAKE A CLASSIC ALBUM THEN YOUNG BUCK CAN!!!!!!LOL.

HE CAN'T MAKE A CLASSIC ALBUM AND WHY U ASK???HE TALKS ABOUT THE SAME EXACT SHIT EVERY OTHER RAPPER TALKS ABOUT.THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN HIMSELF AND OTHER RAPPERS IS HE DONT REALL SPIT RHYMES.THE NIGGA IS TALKIN.AND YELLIN ADLIBS.LOL.IF HE CAN MAKE A CLASSIC ALBUM THEN YOUNG BUCK CAN!!!!!!LOL.THE GAME PERSONALLY HAS A BETTER SHOT TO MAKE A CLASSIC ALBUM IF THE NIGGA STOPS TRYIN 2 RAP OR BE OTHER NIGGAS.LOL.

I hate hearing you stupid sons of bitches argue about Lyrical this and LYRICAL that.... earth to you idiots... lyrics don't matter, i'll read Walt Whiteman, Ezra Pound, if i want meaning and lyrics... all i need rappers to do is saying something to make me say fuck it, pass it, and lets ride: you stupid ass monkeys!

I know it's already been said but "Trap or Die" is CLASSIC!

theres audio on smartenupnas.com of diddy callin 2pac a bitch and fake thug and some other crazy shit i just heard it hurry up go listen before they take it down just scroll down until u see the pic of diddy

That dude Jeezy is annoying since day 1 and fuck no this dude will never put out a classic album 2 be fucken honest this due is hot garbage point blank!

That nigga jeezy is the truth.

"You can miss me with the hatin,
and that he can't rap shit,
tell them faggot ass niggas,
wrap they lips around my dick!"

oc stand up, birdhouse ent.

who is 2 pac wwho is biggie

I don't want to say someone can't do anything, but history says Jeezy will not put out a classic album-
"Rappers who only talk about ki's you ain't poison"- Nas (stillmatic)...
Rap music is alive..Hip-Hop is dead
RIP Biggie

Lyrics should matter, but niggaz today would rather hear straight garbage over a hot beat....

and people wonder why the south doesn't get any respect. I read some stupid ass shit on here from some stupid ass people. Half of you motherfuckers don't even LISTENNNNNN to shit. You hear a song or the way a nigga spits and make up your mind off that. That's what's wrong wit you fuckniggaz... you don't LISTENNNNNN. I like Jeezy, I ain't a fan of his hit records, but the other songs on the CD I like. He talks about shit that I have no experience in, and does so in a way that I can listen to it, which IS lyrical. It aint the MOST lyrical but it'll do. So until the next time I post, you fuckniggaz do one thing for me: do like DJ KHALED and LISTENNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN!!!

What it do? I think Jeezy can make a classic album. Jeezy is the mother fucking realest. That shit he be saiding he really do be doing that so hat off to the man. USDA that click already hot in Georgia. I'm from georgia and that all the niggas play is Jeezy(USDA). Hater's to Jeezy is like you giving him energy to make his album better than his last "ya dig".

Trap Or Die was tha real classic. Sumer '05 in Macon all you heard was that Mixtape where ever you went.

If you say Jeezy ain't hot then why you got NY niggas trying to steal his flow.He is one of the realest out right now so hate all you want. Besides the nigga went plat twice already for damn sure he can do it again. Fuck u HATERZ!!

hello YouTube Team, I like the different featured videos by countries but I cannot navigate if I switch to Japanese, Polish, etc. I would like to keep English language (or my mother tongue) even if I change the country. Any possibility of this in the future? Thank you.
