With all my Rich Boy coverage, I almost forgot about this weeks “City Guide” that is due every Thursday-letting you know what’s poppin in the city.

My selection for this weeks “City Guide,” which is brought to you by Nissan, is Child Molester himself (allegedly) R. Kelly. He will be at The Velvet Room TONIGHT promoting his new concert DVD.

It seems that Chester gets a lot of luv from Atlanta. Whenever he’s in town for an event AG entertainment always seem to get priority over anyone else.

    I was in a resteraunt and I heard these black people talking. They were saying how horrible the white people were for enslaving their ancestors. Here's where my question comes into play: aren't black people grateful that white people enslaved their ancestors? I mean sure, blacks suffered a lot for about three hundred years, but by white people bringing them to America, present black people have a better life than they would otherwise in Africa. For example, black people have a higher survival rate and access to all of America's benefits, where in Africa, there's a high chance you would be living in poverty and have AIDS. Was it worth your ancestors suffering to give you a better life than they had? This question is not meant to be offensive in anyway so please don't take it that way, I was just curious if any black people feel this way.

    curtis and marvin has been sampled hundreds of times since the 80's I can only think of one time when r kelly was sampled.

  • R. Kelly is a phenom I love a lot of his music. But he is not in the same league with Marvin and Curtis Mayfield.
    The GLARING difference is artistic, consciousness, and uniqueness present throughout their body of work.
    For his genre R. Kelly is terrific. But Marvin and Curtis transcended music itself.
    As far as sells go most of today's artist have outsold their predecessors simply because of the evolution of marketing and the popularity of music created buy those who came before them. Furthermore, will you idiots please learn that sells do not always equal better! In fact it rarely does. Jeesh.
    No R. Kelly song in significance or quality, comes close to Marvin's "What's Going On" or Make Me Wanna Holler". Nor does he anything that touches Curtis' "We People Who Are Daker Than Blue" or "People Get Ready".
    As far as his legal issues go. Girls of the age of the one in question have sex everyday, in some states they can even marry. We come from a culture where historically young girls often marry much older men. That's why I think black people have not turned on him.
    That being said, if his relationship with these young girls are illegal, exploitative, or harmful then he is wrong.
    I personally think that he dates young girls because on a intellectual level there about even. No disrespect to Kells but I've heard him speak and he is not that intelligent.
    Again I like Kells but he damn sure ain't a Marvin or Mayfield. At least not yet.

  • Hallo! Es hat sich doch gezeigt, dass die 301 Umleitung einer minus-31 Domain nichts bringt weil die Seite auf die umgeleitet wird auch auf Platz 31 landet. Wenn nun jemand seine -31 Domain auf meine Domain umleiten wurde um mich als Konkurrenten zu argern, gabe es fur mich keine Moglichkeit diese Manipulation herauszufinden. Ich wurde ratseln was ich falsch gemacht hatte und dabei ist es nur ein Trick der Konkurrenz. Edit: Ich habe die Frage vergessen! Gibt es doch eine Moglichkeit herauszufinden ob jemand seine Domain auf meine umgeleitet hat?
